Feedback itrader is not fair..check this out!!

I think you need to contact the mods and see what they can do. Sounds like your getting kinda screwed.
Chris

yeah, there should definitely be a system in place to prevent "revenge" itrader ratings. Maybe it just detects if your rated them in the past year, and won't accept ratings from them as a result.

Before jumping to conclusions I wouldn't mind hearing dacues side. He does have 34 positive iTrader deals...

Hey..Yep there are 2 sides to every story..there was no bickering or any
thing..i bought one of the shafts for this cue from him..he also left me
a good itrader feedback..so..overall i had 2 deals with him..its not just that
he backed out..its what other folks who would have wanted to buy this cue
was thinking....is something wrong with this cue?..because i marked it
sold..and then was offering it again..little nieve on my part to mark it sold
when i should have said..PENDING instead..now since i have a improper
negative itrader i must..and feel..that this has happened before..but since
most know of the backfire of giving negative feedback they dont do it..

Lesson learned on the marking it sold vs pending. I have seen people repost cues after a buyer backs out. Things happen. I am not sure on the leaving a negative iTrader on backing out of a deal if you never shipped the cue. It would be one thing if he paid for it, you shipped it, and then he wanted to return it because he didn't like the cue....or something like that. Did he say why he changed his mind on the deal or? It is a pain in the ass when you think it is sold, and it ends up not being sold, but you have been here only 2 months, and dacue has been here since 06 and have done many positive deals including one other one with you. Does that make it right, no...but just saying...curious on what he has to say. We will see if he posts here...just hope it doesn't turn into a mud slinging contest.

Sounds a lot like ebay used to be before their policy on feedback changed. Retaliatory feedback is a sad reality.

I have had over 1100 transactions on ebay, all positive, except one.

I was in the market for an antique pool table and found what appeared to be a beautiful 1920's Brunswick 50 miles from me. I spoke with the seller who assured me it was in pristeen condition and so I bid to win, and I did.

Got to his warehouse where the table was stored and to my astonishment (not his), the entire subway ball return system was covered with mice crap, old and new. And the ball box was all chewed up by the mice.

Trying to be gracious, though I felt no obligation to be, I told the seller that probably we should part company with no hard feelings and that maybe he could fix his table, get it cleaned up, then possibly relist it. He went ballistic to the extent I thought we were gonna end up in a fist fight, right there. He was going on and on that we had a deal and I told him there ain't no way I'm bringing a mice infested, crap laden, rodent chewed on, pool table into my house and with that I left.

I was glad no advance deposit was ever made as I had brought the money with me and was going to arrange shipping afterward. It ended up that not only did this SOB neg me (my first ever or since) but he also travelled to my home, left threatening material in my mailbox and sent poison emails featuring the most threatening and vulgar language you could imagine. This guy was NUTS !

Pissed beyond belief over his unreasonableness (is that a word?) and psycho behavior, I let the police handle it from there, and yes, I returned the favor of negative feedback.

You just never know.

Best,
Brian kc

like i told him in the future when he says "Deal" he should add..."Maybe"

I don't know what the story is but maybe perhaps leaving the negative feedback was a little extreme. Did he have a valid reason to backout of the deal? Things happen in life that we have no control over, ya never know maybe he was in a position where he really couldn't pull through. But like I said, I don't know the details so maybe he did deserve a negative rating lol.

If you didn't do a deal with him you had no business leaving i-trader. You did not do the deal, for whatever reason, so there is no i-trader to report. Vindictive use of i-trader has resulted in banning, essentially you were mad and wanted to extract a measure of revenge because he backed out of a deal (your story).

I know Dave and have a great respect for him and the way he conducts business. He is a long term member who is knowledgeable and respected. If you two did not consummate a deal you had in the works it is no big deal. I have had that happen to me more times than I could count here, and maybe even been responsible for a few the other way too. The fact is, you have your cue, and you lost nothing.

Time for you to get over it and move on, quit whining over spilled milk and buck up.

the only reason i would ever leave a negative feedback is if i was to be screwed and no way to resolve problem with member...itrader is very important and we all should be carefull when we think about leaving a pos, neg,or neutral feedback....just my 2 cents...mickey

Hey..it was not a hardship reason..if that were the case..this post would
not be here..thanks for your imput..Randy

I have had members say they will buy something and then back out or not contact me back after agreeing to purchase something. It does get me a tad ticked but I jut move on from it.

randy in the past i had a dealing that i was not happy....i thought about leaving a negative itrader but i let it sit for a week or so thinking about it and figured i would just sell what i had recieved and take it as a leason learned...i got mad really mad at this member but over time i just got to the point that i dont care..there are plenty of other members on here to do business with next time give it a couple of weeks to think about the deal and everything that has gone on between you and the party and you will come to a conclusion that you will fill good about...sometimes things are best left alone....mickey

You are not treating our community with the respect it deserves. You air your dirty laundry for all to see. We only have one side of the story, and it is looking more suspect with every post you make. Best for you to drop it and move on.

Sometimes there are circumstances that cause a deal to fall thru. You should think twice about the consequences before deciding to damage someone's reputation. Most work hard on it and take pride in it.
