I would like to show my appreciation to the person that parted with this brochure and info packet from Fellini. The guy that I bought this stuff from has had it for around 30 years and sold it to me so that I could display it with the case. I would love to see pics of another double interlock case if they're out there or any of the other heavily tooled Fellini's for that matter. I am also still looking for certain Engles cases :rolleyes:

oh man

Doug, thats it....I cant take it anymore....LOL......I am going to start collecting cases. This one takes the cake, its beautifull.

I allready have about 6 really nice cases and 70 functional and cheap ones.....hhmmmmmm let me think. I am done with cases.

I'm the guy _ Doug invited me, via PM, to chime in on his thread.

I bought a paltry ONE case - smooth black with two tooled bands,
dyed blue, at top and bottom - I was feeling pretty sporty, springing
for a whopping $65:)

Unfortunelately, the postmark faded away long ago, so dating
defaults to my memory - best guess is 1978.

Doug - the case is well... stunning! Great find

How much for the blue banded Fellini? Doug, I love history, the case is the centerpiece of your Fellini collection.
 
It's really hard to say how old this case is, but it could be as old as 30 years. It does have a few scuffs and dings here and there. I repaired 1 area that was damaged and is visible in the first pic. Still waiting to see some others, I know they've got to be out there.

I have not seen a great deal of Fellinis, but from the ones I have seen, this is my favorite.
