Shane never missed a ball eitherShane played awful.
People always have conspiracy theories when the great one loses.
They played with a template and Filler's first shot was not always easy.
In the second game, Shane scratched on a safety.
I thought my sarcasm was obvious enough…
I thought it was. That’s express 9 ball for sure
I watched the stream and it was about as good a set as you could shoot. 30 minutes total. Filler was in dead stroke and his break was perfect. Made the wing ball and shape on the one in the top corner every time. It was pretty amazing. His 7-pack on the TV table was impressive.

ref racked against moritz and filler ran a 5-pack i think.. these things will happen. they don't have the narrow break box and pockets are loose (as they should in a pro-am). not much to do about it. can't have longer races either when you have frank candela and anthony meglino on another table
Filler has been shooting pretty good all week. He has 4 -> 9-0 matches. 2 -> 9-1 matches. And 3 9->2 matches. So 9 of his 14 matches gave up 8 games total…

I didnt watch that match,
but Just prior to that match. Josh played and also defeated Alex P 9-2...
Josh was putting on a 9 ball clinic-break and runs with pretty-much absolute perfection....
I guess the same as his match against Shane-
Only thing Alex could do was sit and watch,

The Winner Break format is a “thing” of the past. IMHO. Acceptable, maybe, 20 years ago. With today’s equipment, it’s obsolete If you want a fair competition and Not an Excellent Exhibition. When I go to a Top Tier Tournament, I pay to see Good Competition and not to see Good Exhibition.
This is not the first time it happened. Maybe this Winner Break format will change now that the “victim “ was Captain America.

Well, alternating breaks is boring, in my opinion. I love to see a really good 6-8 pack. I just think it is so awesome. And, I think that Josh Filler is the most exciting player in pool to watch.
Maybe bring back the wooden racks though, and have a Ref rack the balls. I believe that would make it much more difficult to string racks together, like they do.
