So does MR get a pass for what is essentially a ban? Or are they to be seen in the same negativity as WPA?
Lol, a response is not an initial action. Threatening and initiating bans is completely different from having consequences for failing to follow through on your word.So does MR get a pass for what is essentially a ban? Or are they to be seen in the same negativity as WPA?

So the Matchroom groupies have no problem with the MR clowns officially trying to punish Filler. Hope he sues them.
I don't eat dogs and cats all the time, but when I do it's my neighbor's.
Is it possible that Filler is withdrawing at the request of the WPA? I didn’t see a statement from him.
Filler does not rightfully like the WPA so he will not do their bidding. He did not "withdraw" per the the clowns from Matchroom, he was disqualified. He should be taking a close look at his contract. I would actually love to see MR sued on this, if their actions are not covered in the contract in black and white. Is it possible that Filler is withdrawing at the request of the WPA? does an invitational like reyes cup need to be WPA approved?
They should have asked him to withdraw for some of the reasons you stated re: Asia. He never bad mouthed MR so he cannot be held for not "standing up for his words" given that he could have been presented false information at the MR staged meeting and signed the MR prepared document. Hope he sues because he invested money in getting the points.Filler isn’t banned from anything. He’s uninvited. It sounds like he can play all the WNT Open events he wants. It makes sense to me given Team Asia has players like Doang Quoc Hoang who is actively banned by the ACBS from playing in WPA events just because he was born in Vietnam. Team Europe is captained by players like Jayson Shaw that will receive a ban after Hanoi. And Josh twice promised to stand in solidarity with the banned Asian players and twice went back on his word. Why would anyone expect his presence at the Reyes Cup would be a welcome addition to what is effectively a celebration of Asian pool.
Is MR actually banning him from all their events or are they just not including him in the 'invitational' events? So does MR get a pass for what is essentially a ban? Or are they to be seen in the same negativity as WPA?
The cyberbullying on social media of Joshua Filler is disgusting, in my opinion. His career as a young professional pool player has been ripped apart by sucker-punching cyber snipers who have no financial interest in professional pool or Joshua Filler. It's just entertainment for most.Filler isn’t banned from anything. He’s uninvited. It sounds like he can play all the WNT Open events he wants. You're wrong on so many levels. None of the pros are "employees." None of them get benefits of health and life insurance, sick leave, vacation pay, and retirement. They pay their own taxes, with no help from anyone but themselves. They are independent contractors. Sad but true.you have a boss and an employee. the pool player is unfortunately the employee.
his options are to:
quit
find another way to play
get better contracts
sue if his was violated
join or create a union of some kind with solidarity
or acquiesce and do what they say as they are your employer basically.

I'm sorry, but you are really wrong about this. Look up the definition of an employee and independent contractor. Big difference. This is something I am very familiar with. Joshua is most definitely, without a doubt, not an employee. None of the WNT pro players are employees, and as such, they have free will to pick and choose where they will play. If they change their mind, they can do so as they are not an employee. The WNT is not a union, yet people are treating Joshua as if he's a scab of a collective bargaining unit. This "he gave his word" crap is ridiculous. He has free will as an independent contractor, a free agent.that is basically an employee. literally you are correct. and its sad that they have little say.. but a voluntary action to be what they are and what they do..
