I was aghast that a commentator was doing that to a sponsor. So rude.
The way I saw the match, Dennis won with some superb pocketing skills. But, I wonder if the outcome would have been different if the dozen skidding balls that Frost shot had gone in?
I noticed Scott hit the object balls with more speed than Dennis and on those shots even the commentators were saying the ball skidded.
Imagine a dozen times Scott would have continued his run, but instead Dennis was given a golden opportunity to score.
Not counting the 3 end rail banks that rolled in towards the middle of the table that Frost shot, I see a 12 game potential difference. 12 games Frost would have won. That would have set back Dennis's score 12 games to 28 and added Frost's to 40.
Many will probably disagree with me, but I still think Scott Frost is the better player.
I agree.Hesitate to comment but.... here goes. Neither player played to his maximum ability. Way too many errors on both sides. Got sick of the stream commentators excusing Scott's errors. The missed shots. Missed opportunities. It was the rails, the cloth, the balls, the cue ball, the humidity, his temperment ad nausium. Scott was defeated by another great player playing more consistant pool. Period. JMHO.Lyn
The one and only thing that never changes in pool no matter where it's played is the balls, cloth, table rolls, pocket size are always the same for both players, pool has always been about adjusting to the equipment being used and the Filipino players seem to be able to do that better than anyone
Dennis played a fantastic match his shot making ability was off the charts.
... Commentary on the last night was the best of all the nights, BTW. I dont know who the hell they were, but they did a fine job on the last night. ...
I got a feeling aramith cant be too happy about soonsoring the match when the commentators did nothing but bash how terrible the balls were.

If Dennis didn't play to his maximum ability then I don't know who on earth wants to try to fade a higher gear than what he showed. I watched a match where Dennis played about as good as a human can from the hundred hours of one pocket I watched these past couple months.
i doubt that any one here has ever played good enough to
criticize the play
who wants to play Dennid mow?
none of you guys would play him for $10,000
or scott for that matter
Both guys played great,no one plays perfect
Is there anybody who wi;ll play Dennis now
What kind of weight would John Barton need to play
12 to 6,how wold that work?
I saw some of the best one pocket I ever saw

i like JB @ 12 to 6...he's very slick
I doubt Alex is hiding in the weeds ,, shorten the Race Eren is taking a peak
The key word is some , the best I've seen no I don't think so , I think Scott played his B game throughout the match , he's played much better than he did here a lot of that yes was the pressure DO was putting on him but he missed routine shots time and time again
that's undeniable he had ghosts in his head some form DO some form table rolls and skidding shots , he simply never caught gear
Keep putting big cash out there you'll bring in Shane who was catching on real quick cause at the end of the day Shot making that won this match was pretty basic .

Actually only Jeff Carter was ultra negative about the balls iirc. Chris Gentile didn't say much about them.
Chris was a great commentator and I think he analyzed the situation pretty good. He did say that in the end game Scott often got the first opportunity to win the game and dogged it.
