This is great...I haven't read thread but i'm sure many have pointed out this was filmed at the Cue and Cushion. This poolroom saw all sorts of great action over the years. I wish pool was like this now...i was born too late :(

This video makes me nostalgic for the good ole days when pool was played in POOL ROOMS. Just a bunch of pool tables with a bunch of guys matching up. Pool was the focus and not the afterthought in places like that. I like the way they were relaxed, just shooting the breeze and busting each others chops. Didn't take themselves so serious as many players do today. Great video!!

I agree,you cant beat the old pool halls and the way things were then,i miss those days!
 
Just wanted to take time to say thanks for all you do here. It bothers me when people say things to you like "what have YOU done for the pool world" ...even if the person is someone i've known for 22 years. Well if you have 2 eyes and a pulse then you can plainly see the contributions you have made. Keep up the awesome work.

working on Part 2 now. Finally got the audio cleaned up and synced properly, then noticed about 22 mins in, the video freezes for about 1 min, and then the audio is thrown off again. So I'm going to have to chop the video and audio into 2 parts, this way I can eliminate the 1 min of freeze altogether, and this will allow me to sync up the 2nd part.

Nothing is easy these days:smile: I thought I was going to be able to start the upload, go play pool, come back and upload would be complete and then post it up. Now it looks like I go play pool, come back and fix the audio, upload (takes about 2 hours or so to upload) and then post up.

So sometime this afternoon or tonight I will get part 2 up. Might try and work on the rest of the parts too... got to finish this project, got too many others that need completed too:smile:

I'm thinking that's a hint for me to get off my ass and finish up, right?:smile:

I would have had it up earlier, but after trying to sync the audio, after a few hours I thought I had it, then I went 20 more mins in to the tape and it seems it went off again. Lots of those Shift Top Keys came flying out of my mouth. :DI'll do the best I can with it, and get the rest up this weekend!
