I missed that if it was the early part of the match. What is it about his stating that which bothers you so much?

Nevermind Ray. I don't wish to pursue this any further. It seems to me that Charlie continues to promote world class tournaments and I truly don't know anything about what he does or does not do and everything I know about him is hearsay except for the tournaments that he continues to do such a great job of promoting.

If we really love pool like we say we do, I think it is time to move on.

However on a very light note. Jerry was just talking about a massage he got from an 82 year old woman who had hands like a lumberjack when Charlie quipped that he was surprised to know that Jerry knew what a lumberjack's hands felt like on his back. Jerry straightened up rather quickly and responded to Charlie, "You really don't want to go there, Charlie" to which Charlie laughed and agreed.

I think Jerry and Charlie make a good commentary team. I may watch and listen to more matches if commentary is continued to be provided.

Cha leads 5-4.

For the record I have my own opinions about Charlie but really like all the pool tournaments he puts on.

I also enjoy his commentary. Good combination of commenting on the match and commenting on various pro players and past stories.
 
Kozoom is doing a great job with streaming. Commentary is rather entertaining, at least if you get bored with the game you could switch to listening mode. But the match selection still is controversial. Girls at the table are okay, but I've seen way too many at TV table during that tournament.
And boy, Souquet with Hundal had to wait extra hour for Cha and Lee to finish. Even being put on shot clock at 5 each...
 
I posted this in the "Predator Disappointment" thread a few minutes ago....but I also wanted to post it here. I feel Charlie and the Predator team deserve more credit after all the complaining we've been doing over the past few days:

They are turning out a VERY clear stream. The commentary seems to be only part time and I really miss the chat interaction.

God, I couldn't agree with you more. I have yet to see one event promoted for men to play pool in that wasn't bashed on this forum, not one. Every one is politicized and nitpicked and the men don't have a tour or a way to make a living playing pool. The women band together and support a tour (which isn't perfect and was far from it when they all shut up and supported it) and they end up with a tour that at least monetarily supports some of them, and showcases their sport and the players. The men can't band together long enough to help themselves out. The only thing the men joined and supported was the IPT Fairy Tale.

Color commentary

I thought Charlie was pretty hilarious.

I liked the line he said during the Smith Hundal match last night when Jerry mentioned that one of the players might have had too many choices on his last shot, and Charlie replied, "That sometimes happens when you have six pockets!"

Funny stuff! :D

Yeah after hillbillys commentary last night im a fan of this guy.
