Also please note that the media covered a charity event...something I (and others) have noted many times in the "How do we make pool more popular?" threads.
The media knows that 999 out of 1000 of its viewers don't know anything about pool. But they all know what a disabled or sick child is. A news segment has to touch a base in the viewer's psyche; otherwise it's a wasted effort.
Unless Lady Gaga starts playing pool, our best bet is to get on the charity program.
