Selby will be trying his best to get the Olney Cocobolo Plainjane back, the cue will not go to Joseph Trantanella, the cue will not be sold to anyone and that the cue will be shipped back to Jeff Olney; no questions asked.

Regarding the probability of this, no one knows. It is up to Selby and Zane himself. None of us should be involved in this anymore.

Yet now you are asking what to do. Do what you said, you will see that's what the AZ community wants.
IMHO you are creating more drama around this cue and situation, ship it and be done with it.

I was bumping this thread to gain the attention of people... not directed to you at all. Don't be sensitive lol.

I agreed that I did indeed say that, thanks for your opinion. When Jeff Olney replies to this thread, I will find my answer. Thanks for your honest opinions but it is not helping me now at all. I am trying to gain more opinions because I don't want my countrymen to be labelled as thieves...

Thanks.

I am the person who originally purchased this cue, never received it, had to file a claim with paypal & wait for quite some time to get my $ back. So I feel that I should have 1st right of refusal to purchase the cue at the agreed price of $350, however i would only do so thru escrow & should not be at my expense! Now lets hear what the community has to say as to whats the right thing to do?

This is exactly what should happen except for..

I would recommend the cue be shipped to you prior to any form of payment made for full inspection, and satisfaction on your part..I myself wouldn't touch this cue with all the bad press..jmo

Jeff wants the cue back from what I can remember he used to play with it. So you should ship it to Jeff Olney, he deserves dibs since he made the damn thing. Sorry to whoever got ripped off but that doesn't put you in front, mistakes/risks like that are not generally rewarded! Just my $0.02 and what do I know anyway?

I will still offer my services as an escrow if need be.

Thank you Jemerson.

Can someone contact Jeff Olney to come to this thread? And let's see what he says...

So right now we have two options:

a) Ship the cue back to Jeff Olney
b) Sell the cue to tman through Escrow (Jemerson)

No i don't want the cue back, i wanted tman to get the cue or his paypal money back, he did get the money back. Now when the cue showed up the next day after you sold to tman in my email i offered 500.00 to see who had sold you the cue. I was then offered the cue back for 600.00 if i wanted it, real nice since you sold the cue for 350.00 or less to tman. I am just glad tman had gotten his paypal money back. How did Zane get the cue in the first place? Jeff

Hi all,

as most of you know im based in Singapore. Ill offer to do the escrow/shipping to tman or anyone else.

I do not want to provide more opinions on who is right/wrong. It is very confusing already. But, ill be willing to help to resolve this issue, if anyone requests so.

Hope this helps. I pity the cue, what a nice Olney ;)

It is rumoured to have been a stolen cue, but nobody knows.

Hi Torqiet,

I will keep in contact with you shortly if TMAN decides to buy the Olney back. I would love to have you to be the Escrow, if TMAN is willing.

Mark,

if you are okay with buying the cue back through the Escrow of Torqiet, I would be most willing to. Just let me know in this thread.

Let's open the discussion to the members here on what they think can be done toward resolving this.

Listening for input. Keep it civil.

Mr. Wilson,

would this resolve be appropriate?

I don't care if I am not escrow. But i do think if the buyer is in the states then so should the escrow service. It basically assures the purchaser will receuve the cue in a timely manner after escrow receives it.

I'd prefer to wait a day or two more for more feedback.

The input so far is good, just looking for more.

Mr. Wilson, I am willing to purchase the cue for a 2nd time which is fair to me IMHO after all the trouble I was put thru. But I would definitely want it to go thru escrow here in the US. The original purchase price I paid was $350, I also beleive that the escrow cost should be paid by the seller due to the circumstances being what the are & were. However I'm not looking for anything free or a reward as 1 member put it! If U beleive this is not right I will walk away with no gripes.

Thank you for your consideration,
Mark Trantanella

Hello TMAN,

As we are all victims of Zane's action, we would not be paying for the Escrow cost. It would be unfair to all of us if any of us has to fork out extra money.

Shaun

He doesnt want any copied DVDs? :D hehehehehehe

And Very good jemerson +1 rep headed your way glad to see problems can work themselves out with out having 3 threads made and bickering like a group of 5 years olds. TMAN hope you enjoy your cue, sorry to see all the trouble its caused you.!

As per my opinion, I like the idea that seems to be most popular, Sell cue to TMAN using jemerson as an escrow.
