Got my first 20 pt run last night. I know for most of you that is weak, but for me it is quite an accomplishment. Im in my first 14.1 league and im in within striking distance of 1st place. I think 2pts behind. Thx Andy. I might even play again next session

job well done

There is an old chineese saying: "Journey of 1000 miles begins with single step." You just made that one step. Congrats and good luck with your pool efforts! :)

Dave, congrats on your fist good run! Glad your taking up 14.1. Thats what the league is all about, a platform to introduce the game to a new generation of players and a platform for those who have loved the game for years to be able to get out and compete.

Best of luck to you and all the players in MI. Also a big thanks to Andy for running the leagues.

20 is a lot harder than people realize,I have been playing almost 50 years and only rarely practice 14.1 and it takes me many many tries to get 20.Very humbling game

Glad to hear that you are playing the best game in the World of Pool. 20 is good. Sometimes, I wish that I could have a 20 ball run.
Keep up the good work.

Very good shooting, now that you have broken through the next time should come alot easier and more often !

Keep it up !
Steve

20 is just fine, congrats!
It can be alright even for very good players sometimes, that is, if the run doesn't end with a miss...

Good Job Deadeye!
20 balls is nothing to scoff at.
Most 9 ball and 8 ball players have never even TRIED to do that much less learned just how difficult it can be.

14.1 is a humbling game and any time you can run more that one rack is a time to pat yourself on the back.

I too am new and am still trying to get past my high run of 25.
It is amazing to me how much pressure I feel every time I start approaching that mark..... & it is a whole new kind of experience!

I love this game!

Im not exactly sure of the run count as I wasnt keeping track. But I know I finished off 1 rack ran from the opening break the next rack and then some into the 3rd rack. 20 seemed like a nice round number. could be more could be less.

I still think i am the worst player ever to play the game. More of an 8ball and 9ball player but Im learning

Great job. Keep looking for what needs to be done and do that early rather than putting it off. Look for stop shot triangles at the end.

20 is good keep playing.

Congrats I did 57 once but more often I screw something up down the line and get lots of 12's and 18's I would love 20's consistently.

20 is a good run. I'm new to the site but I play the game with Myk. I believe 20 is the high run for both of us. We play on Olhausen tables with tight pockets and we like to think that is what keeps us from running longer. More concentration will equal to longer runs

20 is a nice milestone to try to overcome in future :) Don't be frustrated if you can't do it for some time. Keep it up and they will turn 30ies and 50ies!
