First Cue for Inspection and Thanks

I have been a member of AZ since 2008. I rarely post but visit as often as possible. I bought this blank from Joe B. just after he moved from Vegas to Florida. I've collected wood since then and not long after that bought my lathe and kept on stocking my river of wood. I mostly did some local tip, shaft and ferrel work. I met Rick Geshrey, Scdiveteam about a year and a half ago after a cue show. He is a great guy and a solid cuemaker. He agreed to help me out and I owe him a great deal of thanks for his effort and patience. I would also like to thanks to all of you regular guys that post here. It is an incredible resource of experience, information and inspiration. Enough blabbing. The specs are full splice Cocobolo into Maple. 58" 19.10 OZ 1.24/.846 Balance Pt. 18.25. Value= priceless. Nice words Rick! Vern, you have a great mentor and since I know him some and will take his words for facts I wish you the very best in your pursuit in making the best cue that you can "see". A very nice first one:thumb up:.

Nice cue!!

Also, I have one of those BZ-239 Smithy lathes you have it mounted in. I use mine for tapering. It's been a work horse, had to replace the brass half-nuts so the power feed would engage. Otherwise it's been steady as she goes.
