First DCC match.

Well, I think we should handicap it a bit to make it fair. SJD's prostate is bound to have an effect at his age  (Just teasing SJD!)

You're right...The only way I could urinate on John, would be with a step ladder !...I have to lean over the urinal, to keep from pissing on my shoes ! (if you're lucky enough, you'll have that trouble too someday ;))

Speaking of insecurity in grown adults, what do you call a guy who puts every single post in bold font?

I have explained several times, I only use bold print so I can see what I'm typing..You must have missed it ! lol

LOL, you got my respect. ;)

You are right, it was so close I forgot who won that.

I was there - my first time watching a serious pro match. It's almost like it never happened, because people keep saying Efren is falling off and no longer a top player.

So far, his 1P matches at DCC..

Rob Saez
Mark Haddad
Jason Chance
Bob Herchik
Ellis Kane
Rafael Martinez

He's only one of six players left without a loss.

William Fowler was my last match and I just wanted to say a few words about him. First it was a true pleasure to play him. He shared some stories about players he played with and obviously has a lot of mid to high level pool experience. He played real good conservative one pocket and taught me several moves. I thought I would be able to hang with him and I might have been able to had I played patiently but he taxed that patience considerably with stellar answers to every trap I put him in. I hope he goes far in the event because he has a lot of great one pocket in him.

All in all I enjoyed my rookie tournament and even though working a booth and other life events made it exhausting to focus 100% on the game at hand I am having a great time.

Now looking forward to gambling a little and getting some tunes ups by a couple pros who have volunteered to help me out. Last night I played Kenny Brisbane and look forward to doing more of it when I am not so tired. He controls the cue ball like he has telekinesis.

Buddy Hall Won the 1998 World One-Pocket over Marco Marquez

SJD never won an event at Johnston City, but he said that already.

Luther Lasiter won the all around 4 times nobody else ever won more than one all around.

I was at that tournament until the bitter end.
Buddy Grady Marco myself and the 2 nuts I was with, were the last 6 people there.

I could write a book on the last match of that tournament, but no one would believe it.

You have certainly let us all know, if it weren't for your 'complete exhaustion', you would have been in the final four.(at least)... You have heaped accolades on the two gentlemen who beat you, as if they were 'world class players' !..The reality is, there were 267 other guys who could have beaten you easily.. you stumbled into one of them having an off day, leading to an unlikely win, and of course, to more crowing !

John, do not worry about being "well rested" for your match with Lou.. Most agree, that match will be over VERY quickly !..Unless of course, you go into a stall trying to avoid the inevitable !...And please John, when its all over..do not go into your 'pigeon act' !..

Well all I know is Lou went two and out and then could not run out of the building fast enough.

Facts dick facts.

No one came up to me to place a bet on Lou today. I guess the mythical investor group evaporated.

It will be a pretty big letdown if I'm spending my 70's doing this

It beats spending your entire adult life, grasping at 'Aiming Systems' in hopes of becoming at least a competent pool player. Then, masking your disappointment with bullsh*t and bravado ! :sorry: (Hundreds you say ???..How about 20,000+ posts ?)

Yes...PLEASE do the math, newcomer ! :p

One post versus hundreds in multiple threads over the past three months. Do the math, it's not even close.

He is cool by me. My math says he is 100 times cooler than someone who is afraid of having and stating their own opinion. He is one of the few posters who make me want to see what he has said when I see he has posted. John happens to be another one. If you don't like his style then that's cool I just find it funny that you chose to make a post like his to let him know.

John Barton, your PM box is full and your a gold member. Clear some of that crap out.

I got $20 coming for the derby bet on Onepocket.
Ship it. Lol.

Not posting my paypal info here though. Don't leave any notes if you do have my email. I'll know it's from you.

Thanks

Hmmm... "20K+ posts".... my total 'post counter thingy' in the 'Public Profile' is definitely broken.

Thanks Jon , you took it like a man.

You do give all sides of the stories. good effort in all the practicing- something good with come from it all. mark- good luck in business- you are good for the sport, and approachable.

A thinly veiled thread about DCC so you can bring up the name Lou once more.

If a person didn't know better, they might think that a person is obsessed with another person.

Like a Beavis and Butthead show in itself.

Beavis. Hey Butthead, did you hear what he said, he said Lou, heh, heh, heh, heh, yeah, yeah, Lou, heh, heh, heh, yeah, yeah, Lou, heh, heh,, Lou.

Butthead, Cool man.

When a member clicks on one of your threads, its a certainty that somewhere within, will include the word Lou.

Its like, you think of Lou, get instant pole, and start humping air at 40 MPH like a horny old leg hound.

To be fair, I think JB did nothing wrong. Whether or not that is a stab at this guy named Lou, I don't know. Only JB knows his real intention.

I don't know what is going on but it seems these two have been bickering back and forth and finally JB is in the States, and of all places, the same venue.

It's not really a stab at this Lou guy because JB is calling him out and he's the one that is not afraid, win or lose. I can at least respect a man that is walking the walk and calling his opponent.

I do not see anything wrong with what JB is doing

If this 10k match is going to happen.....can someone please stream it?

Sorry for the grammar....drinking tonight.
