Btw Larry , is it an entire splice piece of ebony ?
Very curious if its core or uncore ?
I just love the hit and sound of uncore ebony, on the downside its prone to warping if the ebony is not seasoned .

Yep, at least I got the right decade!

Cue is cored. Uncored ebony has not been very good to me!

Late 2016 / Early January 2017,

This cue has made me change my Avatar and Saying. This cue is PHENOMENONAL Larry. I'm going out on a limb and saying this cues is going to be in the running for cue of the year. Everything comes together perfectly. That's one LUCKY SOB getting this cue. This cue goes in the Masterpiece Catagory. Dan

Do u mind sharing from a cuemakers perspective on why do u core ur ebony ?
Is it strictly becoz of warpage ?
Have always been interested in this topic about handling ebony.

Just a guess but I would say for weight purpose. Ebony is heavier than maple I believe.
