Fixed up another Gold Crown 2

You do the best work I have ever seen on these Gold crown tables.

Do you have a method or trick you could share on how to get the rubber drop pockets to fit nicely? Mine just don't look right they just are not flush against the sides.

The best advice I can give you....is replace your drop pockets with the GC4 pockets...they're the best fitting drop pockets on a GC;)

GC4 pockets

will the gc4 pockets fit with the stock gc1 aluminum corners and sides?

Thanks,

Glen, I always enjoy reading your posts. I've learned a lot about how a table should be set up. Please keep on posting with a lot of photos. Oops, almost forgot to say thanks.

Well I, for one, don't enjoy reading these threads. All they do is remind me how $*@($&ed up my table is. :(

I keed! Great info and pictures!

GC4 drop pockets

HI Glen,

Do you have a picture on one of your older threads showing the GC4 pockets in a GC1?

I did a quick search on the internet and did not see any GC4 drop pockets for sale do you have a supplier?

Thanks again for your help, you could get some more of your great work done if you were not answering all my questions!

Trimming down the pocket will work Donny, but I prefer to belt-sand back the pocket cutout in the frame under the side pockets...allowing room for the pocket to fit more comfortable, but good job. Just a different way of doing things is all;)

do you sand before you put on the rails?

GC4 drop pockets

Hi Glen,
that picture from the top looks great are they sitting on top of the aluminum or just sitting flush up against them?

Who sells the gc4 drop pockets/ are they aftermarket or brunswick?

I did find a thread with your comments on finding gc4 pockets seems like a hard item to locate. china might be the place if they had an original they could probably knock some out in a month or two.

You might have a whole new distributorship opportunity awaiting you!

How can I keep the rail bolts tight on an old Brunswick Saratoga T rail table?

Can this table be made to play great or is it just better to get a Diamond?

Because of the design of the table, it can be made to play ok, but not like a real players table...and for sure not like a Diamond...sorry:smile:
