Fixing the game of 9 ball.

I'm not questioning your plans so much as I'm questioning your integrity. And that throws everything you say and do into question. There are 2 sides to every story, but the guy who refuses to tell his side is invariably the guilty party no matter much he tries to ghost the issue and engage in massive gaslighting.
Ok, here's something for you to think about. Say you own a transmission repair shop, and you're booked way out on jobs already scheduled. But the guy who contacts you is in no rush to get his transmission rebuilt, and agrees to wait on it, because his car isn't running anyway.

Then he agrees on the repair bill, puts down his down-payment on the job.

Ok, some time passes by, the transmission shop gets a break in their schedule and and gets started rebuilding that transmission. Well, to the transmission shop owners suprise, the customer makes contact with the owner of the repair shop and tells the owner he wants his transmission back, as well as his down-payment because another repair shop told him they'd rebuild his transmission for way less money. Keep in mind, the transmission is almost finish being rebuilt, and the customer agreed in WRITING to the bill and time frame of the rebuilt, AND the shop has ALREADY spent money on parts and labor!!

So the shop owner tells the customer you can get the transmission delivered back to your location 600 miles round trip when its ready to be delivered, but you're NOT getting the rebuilt transmission AND the down-payment both back!

YOU tell me what YOU would do???

I'm DONE talking about this!!!!!

I'm DONE talking about this!!!!!
Oh, and let me add in, someone donated the customer a new transmission mission for free, so the customer is happy, but the transmission shop is out the money for parts and labor, but the transmission they have don't fit in anyone else's car!!!

From my experience, transmission guys are crazy!

That’s something I observe but thought it was just Canada. Pool here is almost synonymous with 8 ball. On the AZ forum Pool seems to be almost synonymous with 9 ball.

I play in 3 billiard leagues (pre Covid) and nobody ever mentions 9 ball. I also visit thr UK, France and Germany once a year or so and never played 9 ball there.

9 ball is a fine game but beats me where the future is in it as a pro sport. The world’s best billiard players concentrate on Snooker and Chinese 8 ball...where the money is at. 99% of players in Canada are playing 8 ball...where the fun is at. No idea how 9 ball, virtually unknown by most billiard players, has any future other than as a sideline to other billiard sports.
It doesn't.

I find them shifty.

GUILTY!

In what court? AZB court?
You had already almost completed the rails? Ship them back and keep the deposit - don't just blow off the guy. His table was out of commission for a long time. You can't possibly be proud of this. I hope there is more to this story. Due to your actions or inactions, your rep took a major hit.

What about rails AND deposit??

Proud of? Let me ask you something, did YOU ever see a copy of our written agreement??? Just wondering what your FACTS are based on, never seen the written contract? Hmmmmm....why not???

Are you proud of how you handled this? Come on Glenn. This is no way to deal with this kind of stuff.

I told you, as well as everyone else, none of your business!! NONE of you even know there was a written contract do you!!!

But does that matter to the AZB PEANUT GALLERY COURT MEMBERS, nope, because y'all think you're ENTITLED to know what ever you want to know, even when it's NONE of your business!!!

If you feel the deposit was lost because he backed out, that's one thing. Keeping his table was another. Your lack of response was inexcusable.
You have no frigging idea what you're talking about...LMAO....I never had his table dipstick!!!

NO, then shut the hell up, none of your business!!!
Your contract says you can steal the guys rails and disappear? Your contract says you can not return his calls or property? Your contract says another mechanic has to finish the job for charity because you disappear with the money?

Good job - rep down the shitter, but it was there already. No loss.
