I look for J. Barretta, X Pan, and J. Lee to have good tournaments. Johnnyt

Anyone going to be at the tournament that will be kind enough to post? Thank you. Johnnyt

Fresh off her San Diego win, I'm picking Kelly Fisher to pull off back-to-back wins.

Could be Kelly. The top 15 are all strong players. WPBA has come a long way baby in the last few years and getting stronger each year. Johnnyt

just bought my vip tickets for sunday at ticket master, but I'm heading down that way tomorrow. I won't have access to a computer so I'm not much help. I'm pulling for Jeannette Lee my all time favorite or Karen Corr, I think she won it last year.

Got a feeling that either Wendy Jans or Myuki Sakai will have a high finish this week. Also, Sarah Ellerby has been red hot, and may well have another high finish playing in her home state of Florida.

I've become quite a fan of Alice Rim as of late. I wish her well. A couple of top 5s in the last 3 tournaments.

To quote my friend Jim Morrison, maybe she can "break on through to the other side"........

Does anyone know who has taken over for Kelly Oyama?

Jay has- Jay White i think is full name-Super nice guy who has been assisting Peg the last couple of years.

Not sure if WPBA is updating but GYK is playing well and beat J Seaver fairly handily-Jennifer B was beating Hsin maybe 7-1, Melissa H lost to Leslie Ann R-Angel was down 6-2/3 or thereabouts to Helena- Someone was getting a goosegg in the Rousey/Allison match maybe 6-0.-Tiffany was near shutting out Lisa D'atri. Wendy Jans/Kim Shaw was real tight late in the match. Most these are all 2nd round matches. I have early AM appt so i had t leave.

IN a first rouunder XT Pan survived a hill hill affair with Kim White and Karen Corr beat Liz Ford but wasnt really on her game. The tables are a bit tight and a bit slow. Thats it for now.

Like I said...I'm only goin' for the ONE POCKET, HAHAHA. Good luck at the Quacks  tomorrow, I should be there when ya show up.

All I can say is... Some of the girls were down at Hollywood tonight - and I felt like I couldn't beat a female in the house without the 6.. minimum!

I'm friends with alot of the girls playing in the tour. I'm hope they all do good!

I'm rooting for Xiao Ting Pan because not many AZBers or US fans really know her. She is a wonderful young lady in addition to being a helluva pool player.

It looks like Allision is taking no prisoners this tournament. I have a hunch she wants to show the new up and comers that she is still the queen. Johnnyt

After her good showing at the Hardtimes 9-ball event, I look for Melissa Little to finish well this tournament. Maybe she can snap off the whole thing.

Some random comments

Hadda good couple of days watchin' the ladies duke it out. Nice to see BlackJack, NoStroke and a few others. I wanna give the credit to some not-so household names...be prepared of these women <IMO>;

Alice Rim; She is a player with A-to-Z skills...seemed to me her bag was full of shots, played as smart or smarter than anyone in that room.

Liz Ford; Never seen her until this week...this woman has talent and she does not go down without a fight.

Melissa Herndon; maybe the grittiest player I watched the past two days. She is all business.

Tina Pawloski; I met her breifly on my way out, very personable and I cant wait to be able to sit and talk to her again. Her pool game, one word..."AWESOME". She is as solid as I have seen, stalks the table with confidence and I feel if she keeps coming back for more...they wont stop her. She has the tools folks...keep your eyes out for her. I am now an official Tina Fan for life !!

Thats it for me...just spewing my opinion as usual !!

Jay is an awesome guy, he is a definite asset to the WPBA.
In the past few times I have seen Jay, he is always very pleasant, polite, and is very willing to take care of whatever has to be taken care of right away. Not to mention that he always tries to look sharp and nice in public.
In my opinion, it is a delight to have him around.:)
