I agree with you 100%.
I second that. So make that 200% for the “Good Guys”!
I agree with you 100%.
O'Sullivan himself has said that he's changed tips as often as FIFTEEN times in one tournament.Cue and tip questions are my favourite.
They help me Identify fakes on here from real players.
Real players are clueless about any cue or tip outside of the one they use or outside of one or two others.
‘What do you think about the ‘xyz’ cue.? Unless they have used it for 3 months everyday with the exact same tip as on their previous cue they are just faking it
What tip does player ‘a’ use? Doesn’t matter. How does he shape it? How old is it?
If Ronnie OSullivan has used an Elkmaster for 25 years...how does it possibly matter? He changes it twice a year maximum and Sources the same box of tips.
No excuses. They got hammered before as well. What was the excuse before the pandemic?
Let's all have some patience with the uneducated, information seeking , uninformed ; who may in fact end up being the future of this sport.
These days, the natural progression will be that someone will start a poll to determine whether people favor this type of thread and then someone else will start a thread objecting to that poll after which someone will start a "why can't we all get along?" poll, after which someone will start a thread to ask the moderators to remove this entire set of threads.
Honestly, it's a perfectly normal and natural progression in these AZB parts. So where's the problem?
I see you use a milk dud. How often do you tap it to make sure it holds chalk?
For pretty much my whole adult life I carried a pistol for a living. For eighteen years I was a combat pistol instructor. I believe I was successful because I never treated anyone's question as stupid. I would give the best answer I could and would explain when for other reasons there might be other valid points or views.
I was always happy with a 5 or 6 shot S&W revolver. I knew I could hit what I wanted to. But admiring some guys $3,000. race gun would put a recruit at ease making training easier. No sense to insult and create tension. And it's good for the industry.
So many come on here complaining about the death of pool halls, but jump at the chance to insult bangers, buckets, Valleys anything they consider under their level. That is not the way to grow pool. Starting off on little tables with big pockets is the way to grow the game.
Yeah, I support Nullus view 100 percent.
that's my choice too...I usually need to scuff after about 8-10hr of play.
Not sure if it matters, but I generally hit the balls way too hard- I am a masher, can't help it- and have been known to break with the same cue I am playing with.
Nostroke, my answer would have to go to NPR. Capiche?
I've always wondered what tip Jon Henessee uses. Does anyone know?

If one misfires with a 45-should they look down the barrel to see if They can spot the trouble?
.............................The OP red-repped me for this one.
Lighten up, Nullus...it was a joke.
Hell Nullus, the guy I was poking fun at (Nostroke) green-repped me for that comment and said LOL.
My day is totally shot to hell.
