I always knew having a good long follow trough helps you to have more cueball power... lately i have seen a slow motion help video where is shown the hit of a cue in slow motion. The video, basically say the cue is in contact with the cueball only for a tenth of a second, no matter if you have a 1 inch or 15" follow trough. So, why people keep saying " a long follow trough is the key"? I praticed a lot this aspect of my cue action and atleast i can assure i have a nice long follow trough , but now i'm wondering if this time praticing ( this aspect) was useless.
