For Sale: Cool HARVEY MARTIN Pool Cue with UNUSED TAD Extra SHAFTS

Ending this Sunday evening 12/19, I'm auctioning off a great Harvey Martin Pool Cue with lots of shafts. I think the cue is described OK in the auction, but please let me know if there's something I can clarify.

My guarantee is simple, 100% satisfaction or return for complete refund. If the buyer feels that their dissatisfaction is due to a misdescribed auction, I refund all the postage as well.

This cue is being auctioned with no reserve price. The high bidder will win the cue. This auction won't disappear suddenly. I don't end auctions early. I don't have items for sale locally. This auction will run to the end. Interested buyers will all have an equal chance to bid and win the auction.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Good luck and thanks for looking,

Kevin

Neat cue K-Brew !!

But the question remains...... "Who has the belt?"

:D

Russ

I NOW have the Sunland/Tujunga World Heavyweight Nine Ball Championship Belt and now I will commence to duck challenges with excuses like "its the holidays".

It went down to the last set. Russ was flashing out on me early on, so I dragged him down into the muck and made him play where I hang out, down in the murky mud.

One of the reasons I love selling older cues is I really enjoy seeing how the influences get passed down and interpreted through the years. Martin was, in ways, a father of "West Coast" design. Russ pulled out a great Schrager (he's got a million of them) and laid it side by side with the Martin I'm auctioning and you can almost see those 2 guys working together all those years ago, as they did.
The 2nd and 3rd picture is a TAD that was sold awhile back (Tad also worked with Martin).

Great stuff:

Congrats on reclaiming the ST Crown !!!

Enjoy it through the Holidays and plan on saying good bye to it shortly thereafter.

:D

Most of TAD's cue building equipment used to belong to Harvey Martin.

I love that stuff.

West Coast was Martin/Gina/Tad/Schrager

Midwest was Rambo/Hart/Helmstetter/Spain

East Coast was Paradise/Palmer/Balabushka/Szamboti

Whoops, the shipping is a little high I must have been excited and hit a button too many times. eBay won't allow an edit this late in the game so please subtract $180 from whatever eBay is showing you for the shipping cost and I'll correct it at check-out.

Thanks again

Kevin

Hey man, when I have The Belt (and make no mistake about it, I do have The Belt), I just put it up!

How about today ? I have an auction in the city until about 3:30 but then I could come up and defend my Sunland/Tujunga World Heavyweight 9 Ball Championship Belt. Call me and I'll arrange the ring girls. I'll have my boys proceed me into your flawless pool facility with The Belt held up over their heads and the "Theme from Rocky" blaring.

Thanks

Kevin

PS: The Martin is mired at $900. As Peggy Lee often said "Is That All There Is?".

90 minute warning

The Martin cue is at $900 with an hour and 1/2 left in the auction.

All done ?

All bids in?

Thanks

Kevin

Mad rush at the end there, doubling in price in the last 1/2 hour. Still went for less than I'd expected. Someone got a good buy on a great cue from a legend.

Thanks for your bid it made my auction.
Thanks again
Kevin

It was a good effort.

Yeah, even at that price, it was a good buy. I should have bid more. Should have, would have, could have... oh well... Congrats to the new owner!

It was a good effort and i do appreciate it. The cue was a good deal.

Its a collector cue, and I think the lack of a 2nd (or 3rd for that matter the way people ordered shafts from Martin) original Martin shaft hurt the auction a little. The additional unplayed Tad shafts were nice, but for a cue that really wasn't going to be played (in all probability), maybe didn't add as much value as they would with a playing cue. Now, for a guy that owns a few big pin Tads, maybe that would be a different deal (if they would fit).

Anyway, I was super happy to see the jump at the very end, I was sweating it. Just as an aside, the bid increments at that level were $25, so the fact that your bid only pushed the winner's bid $5, means that's all he had in there, another $30 in your bid and the cue would have been yours.

Anyway, on to the next.

Thanks again

Kevin

Last 1/2 hour? More like the last 10 seconds. I was sweating this one!

For the member here that was sure that I bid my own auctions (citing the fact that he did it on his LOL) you might want to take a look on the actual bidding patterns of my stuff before you start tossing accusations of my crooked nature based on the evidence of your own actions.

Thanks

Kevin

Kevin,
I tried to get it, I was 920.00 then went to 1010.00 at the same time I believe someone bid 1035.00 then it went to 2005.00
It was a real nail bitter.
Thanks,
Branko

I bid $900 early on and it was already above that.

PS - Thanks for donating the crown back to its RIGHTFUL owner Kev!!

Hey man I was distracted by the fact that my auction was mired at $900 all week, but now my mind is clear. I have time available today shall I contact the ring girls and the Watermelon Festival Queen or are you ducking me now that you have the belt?

Thanks

Kevin
