I don't think AZ Billiards is doing much to raise Ebay's ratings, that's kind of funny.
Ebay is selling at an average of $600 per second.
Sellers on AZ on the other hand are having a hard time selling a sneaky pete.

Did you happen to notice Tanks itrader rating on here??? Guess not! I am looking to buy from a reputable seller FROM here. I do not care if its on craislist,ebay or from the trunk of his car.
 
DO THE SEARCH YOURSELF! Go to Google and type in "RON HALEY Custom Pool Cue". If I were simply a person looking for a Ron Haley Cue and new nothing about AZ or Ebay...where will the search engine send me? If someone out there is looking for a Ron Haley Cue, they won't even know AZ exists! It is true AZ does not make money on an individual sale...but they do make money on advertisers.

You see, I am also looking at this as someone who may wish to purchase advertising space on AZ. Why would I want to spend my advertising dollars on AZ when AZ send it's traffic to Ebay? The correct answer is I wouldn't!

i think if you posted a link on ebay to azb for sale thread you prob getting pulled.

i understand your point however azb is a free site. we choose to pay and support azb by choice. azb is not charging fees for sales. for this the rules are different.

btw ths is azb's current member count 20,608. thats alot of pool players. i think youll bc ok

I highly doubt this would happen. AzB will not die as long there are enough pool nuts. :rolleyes: :shakehead: :ignore:

You are 100% correct,not taking anything away from the seller or his nice cues.But if people put the seller aside along with his good reputation and strickly go by the content of the situation I totally get were your coming from because if these same items were sold by a guy with no itraders I believe most would be in agreeance with you.There might be no i in team but there is in i trader which I guess if you have enough of them, you have your team.:eek::)

See, you keep looking at it as someone looking for a cue. I am looking for a reputable seller who happens to have what i am looking for. If i did not know that was Tanks auction, i would not even consider bidding. If this practice is hurting AZ as you believe, lets hear it from them.

I'm speechless from your Google reference, and your comparison between AZ and Ebay.
I wonder how many cues have been sold on AZ Biliards because someone woke up that morning wanting that type of cue.
In fact everytime I Google a certain type of cue it takes me right back the AZ, where I started in the first place.
If I Google a digital camera it takes me to Ebay, Amazon, whatever.

If it makes you feel better, I won't buy anymore cues unless I Google them first.

truth is... u said google ron haley cue and see what happens. i did that and those were the results . you said see where azb is not tommys tread spec

8ball....I've been pretty clear thus far. I have allowed ebay links and unless you were notified other, why are you stepping all over this thread?

If you think something has been abused, report it...but other than that, nobody has any business trying to enforce their interpretations on the rules.

I expressed an opinion based on your previous thread "This Forum". I did report it and there was no response! I am offended by the fact that you would have a double standard and will take that in consideration upon my subscription renewal or whether to advertise on AZ anytime in the near future. However, thank you for showing me the light!

It has been said many times but obviously you don't seem to get it. Tom's sale has nothing to do with the thread titled "This Thread".

And by the way if you feel offended simply leave. There is nothing keeping you here yet you're still posting nonsense and *****ing and moaning like a child. Don't like it? Leave. Very simple.

Tom, those are some great cues you have for sale bud. I do feel for you that you're thread was hijacked by a nit in his own right.

I personally see no relation to Tom's for sale thread to the other thread in question. The man is selling the cues on ebay but AZ as well. Killing two birds with one stone. Someone mentioned he has the right to end the auction due to the sale of the items elsewhere. If I were to send Tom an offer for the Haley right now and he accepted, I guarantee you it would be pulled off ebay and at my door in 3 days. He is offering a better deal for AZ members. Honestly I would feel much more comfortable buying one of these cues knowing it was Tom's sale.
 
alright, let's revisit the high notes of "this forum".

The main point was that there are people who do not participate in the forum and use it only for sales and free advertising.

Since 2006, when you both joined, Tank has 2500 posts to your 250. You have 7 itrader, he has 68.

These are obviosly transactions and participation here on AZB.....yet you...you feel that you have something to say concerning his post here based on you stated opinion in that thread despite what Mike and myself posted on the matter??

As for your "report" what do you think it means? You ring a bell and I run over and go " yes master?" You notify me and I look and see if there is anything that needs attention....by my deinition and then I either act or elect not to. Your report does not guarantee you get what you demand though.

Participate in these forum as a community and get to know these people you are slamming before stomping all over his sales thread, which by my rules....this is a warning for you.
 
I am the one that sent this cue to Ron for the shafts and the refinish and can vouch for everything that Tank has said. The cue is as new and is an awesome player, you won't find a better Haley for the opening price that's for sure. Good luck with a great cue Tom.
