Jmw

Hey Deno,
I used to own the JMW & it is very sweet.
Pics do the cue no justice.
The flame veneers really pop in this cue.
If you want an exceptionally nice Ebony SW style 6pt. cue, but you can't find a SW in your wt. range & with a little more relaxed hit, then this is definitely the cue for you.
This cue is a really good player too.
This cue shouldn't last long.
G.L. to you buddy.

Michael

Great looking j. White cue dean i bet the colors look better in person. Also i hope all is well in texas enjoy the weekend..jeff

Can the ebony on ebony cue be authenticated to be a JWM? I have no doubt that this is a JWM. This cue has been sold here many times.

It is a nice cue.

It is a nice cue.

Its been sold a TON and I thought that a few dozen times ago there was a letter that came with it:confused: I thought one of the previous owners had already had it authenticated.

Setting the record straight about the LOA for this JMW:

I was the owner that had James write me a loa. I traded the cue away to someone who wanted to use it as trade bait for a Southwest (he made me an offer I could not refuse), loa went with it. I love this cue so I bought it back but somehow the loa got lost in the mail so I never received it. I only traded it to Dean because I fell in love w/his Bob Owen wrapless box cue - I offered him many cues + cash options but this was the only one he would agree to.

I emailed and facebooked messages to James to see if he would write me another one but I never heard from him so there is no letter today that I am aware of. But I can absolutely confirm that JMW made this cue - I've talked w/James and received the letter from him re: it's authenticity.

I think originally, Joe (classiccues) commissioned James to make this cue and it was his design of veneers. He requested James not to put his initials on it. You can check w/Joe - I hope I have the right guy :).

This is a great cue and I hope to maybe get it back one day, but for now I am set. Absolutely nothing wrong with this cue. I have no idea why it has changed hands so much, my guess is that it is so desirable, it makes the best trade bait out there. Originally fast n loose was selling it for $2100 when I got it through a trade + cash. This is a great deal for a great cue.

Hope this helps.

Dave

When I had the cue, I also had the LOA with it.
I had it with me at SBE 2010.
This cue is definitely authentic.
I believe without the wt bolt it weighed about 18.8oz. with both shafts.
The pts. are perfect, the wrap, etc.
Plays very nice.

Nitti is reduced to $1400 for a quick sale

it hits as good or better than any Florida cue,and that includes all of them

In my opinion of course

the white sold, shipped and approved by one happy fella
