Here's a cheap little trick you can do to add some lines to the look of your ProAm's. All I did was rip down some 3/4" x 1 1/4" Red Oak, then cut it down the middle to give me two 5/16" wide pieces from each board, run them through my thickness planner bringing them down to 1/4" thick, then stained them with the matching stain to these tables, let it dry, clear coated them when ready, let dry. Then cut to length, and pin nailed them to the bottom edge of the side panels of the table, flush to the bottom. You can see by the look of the tables that the look kind of picture frames the side panels and gives you a little more lines to the look of them...instead of the black Formica look just kind of disappearing into the floor when you look at the tables.
