Frank The Barber

I especially love the drawer under the table... how come nobody else has thought of that? I'd love to see that in any table. Store an extra rack or two, some shapers and scuffers, extra bridge heads, a jumper, maybe even the post money.

That picture blending COM & The Hustler with dabarbr looking for a game is brilliant!

the rest of the room, not too shabby either.

best,
brian kc <------ hates it when he wins three impressive tourneys in a row and someone mistakenly says I got 2nd place in one of them. :D

Really nice looking room, a lot of thought went into all that.
I dont know the man but i watched him play Max Eberle a set of 9 ball from hard times this year on youtube and they were playing on this brutally tight table and this guy was keeping right up with Max for most of it. Max wound up winning but i think it could have went either way, the man still has great skills at his age.

Frank, I think your room is such a good representation of the heydays of pool that you should donate the interior of that room to the Smithsonian Institute when its time, one condition, the corner room pic with you in it HAS to stay in the exhibit Forever.

Thanks Chris and everyone else for the kind words.
I didn't know that this picture existed until I saw it posted here. I didn't recognize myself with all that hair. Mr. Island Drive, you were a man with a top game to try to beat.

Here are some photos of my home room. www.bisdogs.com/dabarbr

This is one of the best home rooms I have ever seen.

The working pay phone reminds me when I didn't have a nickel to make a phone call and I used a penny, by flicking it in the nickel slot at a high rate of speed to get it to work as a nickel. :o :D

Bill, I've been searching for the original bridge holder that goes under the table. The original is made out of wood and has a curve to it. When I do get one I will return the metal one you gave me that has served me well for a few years.
I will be ordering the picture that Robert Ross posted on this thread to put on some wall in my room.

I'll be ready to play again once I move....Do you have a picture of the original rake holder. I'll ask around once I see it. The room I go to room Antiques, must have 20 different year models of OLD 9 footers in there.
