Free Cue...

That sounds good. i wanted to try one of those birdseye shafts a while back. who made yours?

What should we insure the cue for when we ship it???

about the videos maybe you could just shoot some videos of you in action. imo that's what we all really want to check out
I think it should be insured for $400-$500, not sure how much extra it will be, I imagine $15 or so to ship it, track, and insure.

I like the idea of recording some of the action stuff but I do not always have a camera with me when I am playing. Maybe this one game a guy said he would play me, he said he would play me one pocket even if I wear a football helmet!

Ha! i like it

What about some standardized checklist for us reviewers? Maybe some categories to evaluate such as craftsmanship, appearance, finish, hit, balance, etc. I was actually thinking of trying to get a few reviews from some other local cue enthusists while I have it. I was planning to make some review sheets and then thought it could be a good idea for eveyone to use the same one. So what does everyone think, and what does everyone think are some good qualities to rate?

I am open to all your ideas, the cue does have to dings in it from me and one on one of the shafts but otherwise its in very good shape, you can feel one of the rings I believe also. I do think that people will like the cue but hit is subjective I guess, cannot wait to see what you guys come up with. I would say rate it on a scale of 1-10, hit, balance, fit, finish, and whatever else you guys would like to add.

Be sure to include written descriptions as well. There's a lot more that goes into the qualities of a cue than a number

I agree, I just want those who get the cue to give it a review and let friends try it out. Crown Cues are great people and their cues are great too. We got a case donation from John Barton of JB Cases and Sterling Games so it will be shipped in something safe and secure. Lets give our thanks to John for helping out.

Can't think of a thing to add to this one...print out copies, pass along with the cue!

Awaiting results...:)

Sounds good! I am going to let 5 more people have spots as I can let it go for a bit longer I suppose and the more people to try it out the better.

Count me in.. I'm up for trying it out and sending it to the next.. Peace, Joe

well free to try and give a review on!
I need 15 people who are interested in trying out my Crown Cue and giving their opinions and a review on it. I really like this cue and would like to let others give it a go and give some feedback on Crown Cues who is sponsor of OTR www.ontherailtv.com .

I just ask you take care of it and you ship it off within one week or less after receiving it insured and tracked. Right now I am going to look for a 1 by 2 case to ship it in as I have nothing laying around for it, if one of you has one your willing to donate to the cause I will ship it to you first. You need to have a positive iTrader of more then 5 and/or be a member of AZ Billiards for more then a year. Who is first?

Sounds good, enjoy, when the first person gets it, they just need to keep me in the loop on when they shipped along with tracking and to who, then that person needs to let me know they got it and so on. Should be fun for people to mess around with something different then there normal cue.

The form I created has a place to add comments for each category. It is pretty much done unless anyone has any ideas, see attached.
