I will be giving away a Pechauer JP-10 in about 2 weeks. A while back someone did this for a friend of mine. Now its my turn to pay it forward.
I am requesting that you send stories of why someone deserves the cue .
I will read all submissions to my daughter and she will pick the winner.
I have this posted in the Wtf section but apparently that's wrong. I would like to put together a package deal for someone. If anyone would like to help
"not necessary" that would be great. Some have already offered some things and have some good submissions.
Thanks
Terry

I'm all set on cues but I think it's pretty cool what your doing.

This could be a great way to help a young person get involved in the sport. Best of luck to ya.

Robley Fontineau (sp?) is a Louisiana State 8 Ball Champion and has finished 5/6 at White Diamonds. He is a terrific pool player, that is fighting to overcome spina bifida (sp?). And to add more responsibility, he is a full time caretaker for a sick mother/grandmother. Can't think of anyone more deserving that the AZ Horse.

Top Ten reasons Why I deserve to get a free Pechauer JP-10 cue

• I don’t have the money right now to buy one
• I love the Pechauer JP10 cue
• I need something to help improve my game
• I would look really good shooting with a Pechauer JP10 cue
• I am currently using a Meucci MTC-4 cue, and everyone says that Meuccis suck
• If I get a free Pechauer JP10 cue, I will tell all my friend (I only have one friend – that enough should be a good enough reason)
• I am an old man (well, somewhat old) and if I get a Pechauer JP10, it will probably be the last cue I ever get (at least for quite a while)
• I love the colors used in the JP10
• Although I only have one friend, many people respect my game and buy whatever I use
• I’m a really nice guy (at least most of the time)

I don't know what a Pechauer JP10 cue looks like. Never heard of a Pechauer probably because I have been away from pool for about 38 years. Apparently I am too old for my other sports loves - basketball, racquetball, tennis, racing sailboats even golf. Maybe I could start back playing pool. A new stick could be the impetus to get these old bones back in action.

Nice gesture Buddy. Thanks.

My sentiments exactly. And if I can add to this. Robley won a custom cue from a maker in this same type of contest a couple of years ago. The cue maker never came thru with the cue that Robley was promised.

The funny thing is, the supposed cue maker made such a big deal out of paying this custom forward. He did make himself look good for a while anyway. Much the same as Bill Stroud did.

The end result was that Robley never complained a bit, he just took it in stride and said "oh well".

If anyone deserves a real cue at this time, its our Little Buddy from LA.

A bump to the top so more members can see it.

Besides, I know for a fact that Robley would never ask for anything for himself so one of us has to do it. He is just like that.

From talking to him, I also know that he is always most grateful for anything that comes his way.

I will help too-

That fellow in Texas who run the School Pool Program might be able to use the cue for his kids. Help me someone with his AZB Handle.

I've always wondered at your avatar, #56.

He looks like one tough Mother. This is the kind of stare you get when you hit him once and make his head bleed, he looks at you and says, "If thats the best you can do, yer in a whole heap of trouble Buddy".

I sent pm and will help out. !

I will be sending a (Zeller- Joey in Calif. Cherry hustler mark

Bruce, I believe it is Marcus, but I am not sure he still has the pool in school do to budget cuts? However he may know a young person who could use it.

I will give another vote for Robley. He is a great guy and deserves the cue. I DON'T think he would put himself in the hat.
