They are a fairly hard tip. Great for breaking. If you have a preference for a harder tip for playing then it would be a good tip for you.
 
they are a very hard tip.. seem to be harder than moori hard,
should work great on break cues.
or for house cues that get alot of abuse, good price too.

Hey I got to tell you Troy is great.I got one of the free tips and decided to get some jp's as well.I sent a money order out on Monday and I just got thee stuff in the mail today.Thats what I call fast service.I will be doing more business with him.Thanks again Troy ans as soon as I put the tip on and try it out I will post my thoughts.

Got it today and couldnt resist installing it myself,didnt do too bad for never installing a tip before,it came out well,i just need to trim the edges alittle,i will play with it this weekend and give my feedback on it. ;)

I just tried it out. As was mentioned, it is a hard tip. Too hard for me in one pocket with all the little quite spin shots I play but for playing 9-ball, bar table pool & possibly 3-cushion (no tables around), this may be the best layered tip for the money. Too bad it doesn't come in the softer versions.

Troy, again, thank you for the offer and being so prompt with the shipping (less than $.60 in postage just to let those of you charging $5 know the costs :eek:).

I just wanted tell every one I put the tip I got for free from Troy on today.I then went to the pool hall and played for about three hours.This is the first time I tried a supper pro and I have to tell you they are hard.I was able to get use to it and started to play pretty good with it.I would have to say overall I like this tip and will have to keep playing,I might just have to switch my break cue tip to one of these.Thanks Troy you are one of the really good guys on this site.
