I think Filler was full of adrenalin, overconfident after his win over SVB yesterday and underestimated Corey. Made something like 8 errors to Corey 3 or 4 errors.
Corey just played it slow at his own pace:thumbup:

That was a really, really exciting match to watch. Glad I jumped on the stream when I got to work (instead of working).

As Corey was taking his victory lap around the table, well, actually just starting to get his gear put away, he did a Hercules muscleman pose in a good-hearted jab at the kid Filler who did similar gestures during their match after a couple of runouts and a great jump shot.

Also, noteworthy was SVB coming down tableside to shake Corey's hand for the win. SVB may not have been enamored with Joshua's screaming in delight after eliminating him from the open.

This kid def has a big gear and will be one to watch.

Big mistake by billy of giving the table back on the 1-ball. Chang combos the 1-2.

Is it just me or are these commentators terrible. They have one of if not the best player in the world putting on an exhibition and they are talking about their glory days and occasionally comment on the actual match in front of them. It really takes away from the weight of the moment that is going on at the US Open.
