I am going to make a thread and fill it full of kitty litter so Hu and JB can have this cat fight and not soil this kitty litterless thread.

Spread the Joy

I always carry cash.....people know it and when they are hurting for money, they come see me and I get some great deals. Bought a couple old Joss West cues and a Richard Black really cheap.

Today I was at the store getting gas and a guy was paying for his 12.00 worth of gas in .50 cent peices, and 2 1928 Silver Peace Dollars......I told him I would buy them and he said sure.....Does anyone know what just 1 1928 Silver Dollar is worth ;)

I will double your money ( I think) and you can be happy and I can be happy. How much did you pay for each Silver Dollar? Tell me a dollar. Hell the guy was a freakin stranger. j/k :D

Forgot to ask Ken, who is the cuemaker and where did you send it for refinish?

I'll readily admit that I didn't read the whole thread because:

A) I'm lazy
B) It looked like a bicker-fest between several parties
C) I'm lazy

Who made the cue and where did you send it for refinish???

Joey...I gave him a 2 dollars for the 2 silver dollars...have you seen what a 1928 Silver Dollar is worth? They are the rarest of all the peace dollars.

When I seen what year they were, I almost couldnt contain myself.....the woman behind the counter asked if i had any idea how much they were worth...I said yep...she asked how much....I told her and she almost fell over ........they are going into my coin collection and when I pass on, they will go to my son....

Shawn, you have to be one of the luckiest ducks I've ever seen in my life.
Now go buy some lotto tickets for me, ok.

Hey brother....I have always came into good deals...always helps that I have cash on me... I have came across a few really good pool cues and to help a few people out I have gave them the cues. I got a really nice McDermott cue, worth about 350.00, I think I paid like 45.00 for it....I sent it to Beware_of_Dawg here on AZ....I try and help out my friends as much as I can...I think I am reaping what I sew..at least I hope I am. I am always willing to help people out.

Good to hear from you my friend...I havnt been on much, I coach my sons baseball team and we are having games 2 nights a week...I havnt even picked up a cue in a month or so :( BUt its fun with the boys and watching them play ball

Now, my wife...she is the lucky person at the Casino...she won a little over 11k last month..I cant do diddly crap at a Casino though. I guess I am just not smart enough to understand the games...lol

I wish I could say the same, but money was hard to come by ever since my Great Grandfather lost the family fortune on a bad investment.
It was when Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. My Great Grandfather invested all our money into 'yelling' as a low cost alternative. The rest is history.
