The loss is actually on the cue owner from Singapore . Really sucks for him.
It's one of the last sneaky petes I made . I don't make them anymore .
His shipping agent is now trying to recoup his shipping cost and claimed value .
I will try to accommodate him after he gets his reimbursement .

I know Joe Gold made his overseas customers know once it left his shop that was the end of his responsibility..To much risk....

Getting satisfaction after a theft must be brutal....

I use to live Fed/X Air by 10:30 the service back then Pre 1997 was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️


Best friend had Radio, TV, and Motion Picture support biz. Befor he retired and sold biz. He was one of Fed-Overnights largest accounts.

Could also say nothing bad about service, this was pre 1999.

Company build reputation in super on time service, not no more.

You know, being the person you are, after he gets this claim settled, i'm sure you will make him a replacement at a fair price. Eventhough you are not currently taking orders for cues, you are the man of the hour here lol

Come on now, the $15 surcharge with USPS, was it not to help the little guy? IF that's help. I hope they stop helping.

Several times I've had packages due to me from them

One story I had a package due on a Saturday which I thought was strange, they really don't deliver on Saturday. At the time someone was always home. My wife's grandmother never left the house.

So this package due to me was out for delivery on Saturday. So comes the end of the day and the status is delivery attempt no one home. I'm going BULLSHIT someone was home all damn day. Okay it will show up Monday. Well every day that week every day it's out for delivery. The package got delivered the next Saturday. I had two other packages delivered to me like this within a few months. SO FUCK FEDEX.

Also to note. My company get packages from Fedex constantly and they lose stuff on the truck and it shows a delivered, but it does not get to me for a few days. SO FUCK FEDEX

It's all of them our economy has turnd to shit, so for those of that want to work and earn our money, we are getting screwed by the people that want the free money, but don't want to work for it.
Hopefully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and soon.
All the delivery services are crying for employees, the ones working are trying, but green, These companies are desperate and hiring pretty much, anyone that applies

Hey, no need to ever complain about anything, there is always a solution or resolution. Most of the time disagreement s are just bad communication

We as the weee preople just need to do what ever it is that keeps us comfortable , the government surely isn't going to give out comfort, they already have us working to make their paycheck.
We do what we do down here, away from the top, ( all fighting for each others money)
We do work sometimes for tax free dollars, do what we have too, but not break the law, just make tax free dollars and live in a comfortable world, Doing what we enjoy as long as we don't violate anyone's space, noise level, or personal business, we can survive as the wee people
 
We order something on line, yesterday FedX dropped box in plain view in front of front door.

Effort would have been a step more. Put box behind post out of view of porch pirates.

Always bothered me that they put the package by the door on the wrong side, just makes sense to put a package on the opening side of the door instead of the hinge side, that way you do not have to walk completely out of the house to crap your package.
 
Does anyone use PirateShip? They claim you can save money on shipping via UPS or USPS. I just mailed a cue in a triangle box via USPS Priority Mail (not through PirateShip), and it cost $84 with insurance--insurance was $44. I packed the cue inside one of those super strong cardboard tubes, then slid the tube inside a Priority Mail triangle box. The packed triangle box weighed 4.6 lbs.

The interesting thing about PirateShip is that they use a third party insurer called Shipsurance. I think that means when you print your USPS shipping label through PirateShip, USPS will not see that the package is insured. If that's the case, then USPS workers cannot readily identify your package as valuable and target it for theft. I know some people ship cues without insurance to prevent workers from knowing how valuable the package is.

When I got home from USPS, I plugged in the weight and dimensions of my package at PirateShip, and printing a USPS label through PirateShip for my Priority Mail triangle box would have cost $63.71. UPS 2nd Day Air would have been $75.50. I don't have a printer to print shipping labels, but there's an OfficeMax near me, and I could load the printing label on a flash drive, then drive to OfficeMax and print the label.

Many years ago someone was robbing the red room of the post office in Orlando, turned out to be post master
Internal affairs came in and placed a camera,in the red room ( where all the insured items were stored) The postmaster was stealing rolex watches, etc and ups was paying out the wazoo in insurance payouts.
 
I had a large FedEx package sent to my house last week. They dumped it at the mailbox and drove off.

Our mailbox is 150 feet up the driveway from our front porch. Got no notification and found it out there next to the road at 10:30 pm. Astonished it was not stolen. FedEx claimed it was delivered at 6:45 pm..

Saw packages like mine several more times driving home late since then.

FedEx claimed temporary workers.... I blame FedEx for not making sure the packages are delivered responsibly..

FedEx is the new USPS!
