Just like the fans in the stands they just need to quiet up during song transitions. Jay is getting the hang of it.

Also, Alex is teflon. not much bothers him. He will make a joke about distractions and move on.

Eh, Alex asked them to be more quiet, looked a little tense, and completely blew the next shot after he asked the announcers to quiet down and left a cake 5-ball by overshooting the shot too fast.

Even Alex cannot fade little things that can get into his head that might keep him from getting into his "zone" where he can perform.

10 feet from the table with no shield is too much. Even whispers are going to be "heard". You might not hear well enough to distinguish what is being said, but you can hear the murmurs and whispers and if a player is already on edge and consciously thinking about that it is not a good thing.

If Alex was Teflon and it did not bug him he would not have mentioned it to the commentators in the first place.

So now is this a race? I thought it was supposed to be an ahead set. It would be nice if the Pool Action TV website gave some details.

(Found it after much digging on AZ Billiards, 8 ahead - don't quite understand why total score is being reported.)

Yea it's 8 ahead, for some reason Big Truck marks the games instead of just +/- games… not sure why.

It's 8 ahead....it's just the way they're keeping score.

I made a bet today that the match would go into the third day....
....I might have jinxed Alex
 
Thanks guys. OK I'll probably buy in - this should be good. Any idea what happens if he 8 ahead doesn't happen tomorrow? Pay by game?
 
I kinda like the total score concept. Tells you how many games they played total. You are just looking for a difference between the two scores to see who is winning, not hard
