I've been watching and the biggest lead I've seen so far is 4 ahead.8 ahead is a devastating format. Hope they will reach a conclusion without calling it quits for being tired. What is a largest difference so far?
If everyone(hyperbole) loves this 8 ahead format that is taking over 5 days, then why do people complain about race to 100's?
The heat is on......can Scott come back again?...stay tuned
We are watching the two best in the world, this match is going to decide who is best. Win or lose both players played great and those who want to knock the guy who loses just remember there is nothing wrong with being second best in the world at something. How many of you are second best at anything? :grin-square:
Yesterday it was tied twice, at 31 then again at 42.
These two champions were playing even after five days and 84 games; so it seems to me there is hardly any measurable difference between them when it comes to skill at playing one pocket.
However, someone could get tired, someone could get lucky, someone could lose focus or gain focus, and suddenly within a few hours the eight ahead finish line is in sight. Will a win establish one of them as the better one pocket player? Maybe for this prize this week, but there is plenty of one pocket left in both of them.
I just hope someone makes an edited version of the best of these games for sale, and leaves out the boring parts, the non-shooting parts, and half the up table nudging around. Alex is well known to play slow at times, so a speeded up version would be a better seller, especially if it had smart commentary. Editing for length is not new, I am thinking of the Ronnie Allen-Danny Deliberto match some years back, and that edited version was a very watchable DVD.
What was the game score of the game that Alex just won to go up by 6?
Thanks in advance.
Will
