I got to thinking about it and the cue needs to go to RIP.
He was the first to ask for it in this thread after me.
I have to admit I hit a ball with the cue. It has a very sweet flex on contact. Nice. Also it will have a full sized shaft!

You said you were interested not sold. Rip posted at 10;56 today in this thread. The more I think about it the more I like it.
The two cues were the first Mordt cues I have seen. I am giving this cue away. Marcus mentioned a few things that never crossed my mind like rip offs.
This is a bazarro rip! Ha Ha. The cues are a definate bargain.
I really was suprised at how meaty the hit is on this cue.

I appreciate the gesture. I have one of Bryan's fancier cues and his workmanship, attention to detail and "hit" is on a scale much higher than his current pricing. Payment sent.

Not happy with how this went down.

The cue was SOLD. That means the first sale was a done deal.

When it was offered again, it starts over.

I PM'd you and called you. I stated that I would take the cue.

Then you tell me you sold it to someone else??

In your PM you wanted to make sure many things about this cue and wanted me ot give my opinion on many conditions being met.
The cues description was accurate. You said if this and that and this and that and the other man said sold.
This is why I sell to a man happy to have another Bryan Mordt cue.
The cue is sold.

Nick , I agreed with you all the way as seller. When there is a buyer whish-washy..... I would do the same sell to next happy customer....:)

First of all, I posted up that i would take the cue. I also sent you a PM asking for the specifics on the cue and how bad the warp was.

I never got a response from you re. my questions. I just got a reply that the cue was sold. You didn't even give me a chance.....

Am I not allowed to get specifics or find out how bad a cue is warped before I send $$$ ?????

What if I sent you money, got the cue and it rolled off 1/2" ???

You NEVER stated how bad the cue rolled off.

Give me a break.......

Be a man, just admit that you sold the cue out from under me or that you got offered more money.

And, FLYINGSNAIL, I WAS NOT being wishy washy, I was confirming specifics and the cue was sold out from under me. Keep in mind that this all happened in a period of about 10 hrs, overnight even!!! I said that I would take the cue, asked for specifics and then BOOM........the cue was sold to someone else.

Not that my opinion is worth anything, but I concur... Rip was right behind Nick, Nick gets it, then reoffers it, poolhustler sends PM, Nick says it's his, then reneggs the deal....

Shady like Marshall Mathers, IMO....

Here's the time line for those interested....... (flyingsail)

12:57 PM - Send a PM stating that I was interested in the cue.

1:18 PM - Nick askes how I want to Pay.

4:30 PM - I posted and called Nicks cell #. A gal answered and I left my cell #.

Went to the pool hall to shoot some straight pool.

10:47 PM - Returned from shooting pool, PM'd Nick asking how bad the warp was. And, stated that I would take the cue, if not warped too bad.

11:46 PM - Nick posts an apolgy that the cue was sold.

Now, I ask you where did I go wrong in this transaction??? Did I do something wrong ??? If so, let me know so I can learn from it.

NOTE - I NEVER RECEIVED A PM OR POST STATING HOW BADLY THE BUTT WAS WARPED !!!!!!!!!!!

When working a deal with someone, is it wrong to expect the common courtesy of the seller answering a few questions?????

Oh ya, and nice try coming on here and trying to make it seem as if I was wavering on buying the cue. I posted that I would buy it. I asked questions, NEVER got any answers.

I have only been on AZB for a short time and have spent over $7,000.00 on cues so far. Every single transaction has been flawless. I guess I was just dealing with more professional sellers than you seem to be.

Enough said.......you blew it.....PERIOD.

Remove your name from it before selling. I don't think it is a good idea to let a POS out of your shop with your name on it. Someone will be taken down the line and will give your name a bad rep. Just my opinion but I don't think that I would put my rep on the line by selling any rejects with my name on it. Someone may also just be curious about the cue and while trying it out see that it is warp and then start spreading bad opinions about the cue concerning workmanship and quality. As the saying goes one awe $hit wipes out all of the atta boys.

Better question, Why did you not just tell the other buyer that you had a deal pending and that you would get back to them if it falls through??? Do you need the $$ so bad that you couldn't wait an hour and answer my questions that you had to jump on the other offer?? Ridiculous....

I guess my telling you and posting that I would take the cue just isn't good enough for you.

Didn't RIP ask any questions before buying ???
