I'm selling my Tim Scruggs 4 Prong Ebony into Maple with 5 Veneer (black, blue, blue, white, blue) Pool Cue with 4 Shafts. I sell stuff on eBay for a living and plan to put this cue up next Sunday in my usual no reserve auction, but seeing I have a few days, I thought I'd make an offering to only AZ members.
The cue is in excellent condition. It was used as a player up until a week ago. A small clean-up of the wrap and shafts and this cue would be perfect. It is definitely not in need of a refinish, there's no dents or damage. Mike Cochran says the veneer style dates the cue at least 15 years.
The 2 Gina shafts were made about 1 year ago, one shaft has been played and the other has been chalked but has never hit a ball. Please note the marvelous job Ernie Gutierrez did matching Tim Scrugg's original ring work. The top shafts in my photos are the Ginacue shafts.
The cue is 58 inches. The butt weighs 14 3/4 ounces. One original Scruggs shaft weighs 4 ounces with a 13 mm tip. The second original Scruggs shaft weighs 4 1/8 ounces with a 12.5 mm tip. Both Ginacue shafts weigh 4 1/4 ounces with 13 mm tips. The ferrules on the Gina shafts are ivory. The Scruggs ferrules are not. Everything is straight.
Cue, 2 Original Scruggs shafts and 2 Gina shafts are included. This cue should be played and I'd be happy to let the buyer test the cue for 3 days with a satisfaction or return for refund guarantee (just please no testing of the unplayed Gina shaft). The price is SOLD including insured USPS Priority Mail shipping in the US. PayPal is fine with a confirmed shipping address.
Thanks for looking
Kevin
