I have a gorgeous full-splice cue from Darren Hill. This cue is in great shape with only a very slight bluing of one shaft, and a chalking of both. This cue is a very firm playing cue with a nice, solid hit. The ivory ferrules give it a nice, crisp feel when you strike the cue ball. It has some super Birdseye in the handle and points, and the handle joins the ebony butt sleeve in a butterfly/saturn ring configuration with Blue/Black/Blue veneer rings.

Specifications:

- Butt: 15.7 ounces
- Shaft 1: 3.7 ounces, 13.1mm, Ivory ferrule w/fiber pad, Triangle tip
- Shaft 2: 3.7 ounces, 13.1mm, Ivory ferrule w/fiber pad, Triangle tip
- Hill's modified 3/8x10 brass pin, wood to wood joint
- Black phenolic joint collars with Blue/Black dash rings
- Solid Ebony Nose
- Four razor sharp points with 3 veneers, Blue/Black/Blue
- AAA Grade Birdseye points and handle...beautiful
- Birdseye butterfly with triple veneers (blue/black/blue) above the ebony butterfly butt sleeve
- Black phenolic butt cap with Blue/Black dash ring
- Signed "Hill's Cues '07" in one of the points

Just a bump for a great looking cue!!
 
I took this cue with me to leagues tonight and shot with it for a while. The balance of this cue is super...very neutral. The hit is solid and crisp. Also, it is a beautiful cue. While I was playing with it, I had several people come over and as who had made it. The birdseye in this cue is awesome.

Nice looking cue
 
At first glance I thought the cue was ugly.. Second look it was ok.. Third look I kinda liked it. Final look.. What a really good lookin cue. Bump for a nice cue. :)

Is this a cue from a Davis blank? It just kinda looks like other Davis BEM full splice blanks I have seen.....stunning.

Lisa,

No, Darren is making his own full splice blanks, all in house. This is a superbly constructed cue. The points are dead nuts even and razor sharp.
