Ending this Sunday evening 2/14, I'm auctioning off a 2005 Barry Szamboti Hoppe Style Pool Cue. My guarantee is simple, 100% satisfaction or return for complete refund. If the buyer feels that their dissatisfaction is due to a misdescribed auction, I refund all the postage as well.

This cue is being auctioned with no reserve price. The high bidder will win the cue. This auction won't disappear suddenly. I don't end auctions early. I don't have items for sale locally. This auction will run to the end. All interested buyers will all have an equal chance to bid and win the auction.

Here's a link to the auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290400389059

I believe that everything white on this cue is ivory.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Thanks

Kevin

Hi, will you allow international bidding? thanks.

There are some problems associated with both accepting PayPal from International bidders and shipping cues with ivory out of the US. Both are surmountable but do require some discussion. Please feel free to eMail me and we can discuss.

Thanks

i believe you need to be certified to bid over a certain amount on ebay. there is a process on their site.

No Guy, I think it is the fact that Ken has owned too many so far and needs to leave some for the rest of us:wink:

bump for a great cue

OK Thanks Guy i check in to that ,,,Ken

Ken

I'm thinking it may have been what guy suggested as I think maybe you got a bid in?

If not, let me know and I'll see if it is something that I can fix as I'd love to see your bid (if I haven't already).

Thanks

This might help some people with bidding.

Jason

This auction certainly has gotten some people that were never previously much interested in eBay looking to learn at least enough to place a bid (especially after they became convinced that I wouldn't end the auction early and just sell the stick outright).

In Kenny's case, it was my fault, and now that problem is cleared up and he can bid to his heart's desire (which I hope is endless and knows no bounds).

Thanks

Kevin, Nice offering. I wish I could play with the big boys, maybe soon...

Thanks so much.

I only can afford to play with the big boys a week or two at a time. I think I had this Barry in my hands one day before putting it up for auction.

That boy you do play with is rather large. Let me know when you are ready to hunger strike his butt. We can sneak burgers when the cue maker and the national media aren't looking and that way we can last for weeks. He'll cave!

Thanks again

Kevin

Kevin,
A true salesman...
I do hate being outbid.. We'll see..
Best,
Ken

Salesman? Nah, I'm just an auctioneer. All I do is point and count.

I make my (meager, paltry) living buying stuff at brick and mortar auctions and auctioning off my finds on eBay. The dealers in LA are the same bunch of guys and hopefully we are all interested in a little different stuff so we are not always bumping heads (and bids). They all laugh at the looks on my face when I get outbid on something I really wanted. I can't help it, when I see something that I consider "juicy", from the time I see it, figure out what I think I can sell it for and what I'm going to bid and wait for it to come to the block I'm writing the eBay auction in my head and imaging my auction. As the great salespeople say, the auctioneer has me where he wants me, they will be successful because I have taken mental ownership. When I don't get an item I've taken mental ownership of, I stand there all dumbfounded as if some thief has just ripped me off right in front of a crowd and gotten away with it. I hate hate hate to be outbid!

Thanks

Kevin
