That is a good question PFD user. I was told it was a limited, but there is no "limited" on the buttcap. Maybe someone who knows will comment. It is a nice looking cue with the starbursts inlayed into purpleheart into ebony.

Nice Schon there jazz. What model is this one?I never seen this model before.

Are the rings and star bursts ivory? Does it have a weight bolt in it? Nice looking schon.

That's one nice looking cue. Can't find this model on most sites. Anybody know what model this is?

Martin,

Are the shafts new Schon shafts or were they made by another cue maker for this cue?

This is a neat looking Schon cue and it must be a limited model because I don't remember seeing one like it.

They almost look like Carmeli shafts ;)

The shafts have the same taper as Carmeli custom cue shafts. They were made at the Carmeli shop by one of the more experienced helpers. The shafts are nice...and straight. I think the cue is upgraded because of this...but that is my opinion!

I believe they are ivory, but I haven't taken a magnifying glass to them. No weight bolt. Martin

No weight bolt. Martin
Martin,

Are you sure this cue doesn't have a weight bolt? I've never seen a Schon cue without a weight bolt. The weight bolt holds the rubber bumper on with a machine screw.

James

I stand corrected. I just took the bumper off. Yes, there is a weight bolt 3/8-16, that is about 1-1/2" in length. That means the weight bolt could be cut to make the cue a tad lighter. This Scharmeli cue is a real nice value for all the inlays and work in it:thumbup: Thanks James.

?????

Has the joint pin been changed on this cue. Please list how much work was done to the butt of the cue. What is the price for the cue with no shafts??

Thanks

Waldo, When I received the cue, someone had installed a 3/8-10 pin!! A high quality aluminum 5/16-14 pin was installed and the shafts, which were crooked and modified for 3/8-10, were scrapped. The cue was rewrapped and then repolished. The cue is for sale with the 2 new closely matched shafts. The cue is not for sale without shafts or anything else. Thanks.
