Whenever someone pm's and inbox is full than az billiards send an email to the recipients email.you can check whose message came first and give prefernce accordingly.

Or else if you can decide thru wednesdays powerball.give equal number choices to people who pm u or post on thread and the winner gets to buy it.or if there are like 8 people ready to pay 50 usd each winner takes all:D

its raffle time:D

I would probably contact everyone that said they wanted it in the same time frame. But their names in a hat, and pull one out. Might not be perfect, but at least everyone gets a equal shot.

without asking Mason I'd say the ferrule is newer micarta he had made for him. Isn't asbestoses based, but plays pretty close to me. Have a cut down one on my playing cue and like how it hits.

I like this cue. I wanted this cue. I was probably not the first to PM, we all know Mason's cues are popular. I would gladly participate in a lottery with the other interested parties. I will have no hard feelings or ill will if I do not get a chance to buy the cue at the asking price. Someone will get a very nice cue at a great price and I will be happy for that person, doubly so if it is me!

I agree with GoTulane -- it's your cue, and in the end the sale is up to you.

Personally, what I would do is contact people in the order they tried to contact you, whether by failed PM, post, or email. The first person who tried to contact you who will meet your asking price gets it. Since there's no way to know whether a failed PM was a lower offer or an offer at your price, I think this is a fair way. JMO, though.

ok i'm considering a raffle with everyone who contacted me thru pm or email getting first choice and able to buy as many slots as they want. what do u guys think.

the micarta is new yellow micarta, but it is made basically the same as the old minus the asbestos.the color isn't quite as dark to start, but it does get darker with age.the deflection seems to be lower than the old stuff and the hit is almost the same as the old stuff.the material is also very strong, quite abit stronger than LBM.

I'll take all raffle tickets that total to $400.

honestly the best thing to do is for you to take the 5 guys who are most interested, and have them all do a blind bid. and you take the highest bid :)

or if you didn't want to make people pay more than what you originally posted for the cue just repost the cue in 3 days when you have your PM box empty :)

i remember when i first saw that cue on the f/s section, i almost died it was so purdy. 300 for that cue is an absolute steal.

? i am the original owner and never put it up for sale for 300. yea it seems the auction type thing works as well as 3 other ppl have suggested that to me, i'll run it by the others and see what happens.

$300???

Yeah, that would have been a steal at $300, and it is still worth more than the $400 shipped, as shown by all of the interest. I think the silent - 1 entry auction by the 5 interested parties is the way to go. Sent you a PM.

No matter what happens, Cedric is a good guy, and all should be happy with the results. He has spent more time, and concern on this then many people here on AZB would have. He is a class act.

BTW - I do not believe my auction offer will be high enough, but I still can say good things about Cedric. As everyone should after just seeing how this is going down - An Asset to AZB. Still many good people on the forum.

Michael
