I am curious what happened to the other posts in this thread. Did you cry to a mod and have the posts describing your cues history pulled?

You want the benefits of using this community to make money, and thats all you do since you never post anything but for sale threads, but do not like it when you sell a notorious cue and people who know what it is in the community put all the info out there for other community members who may not know it.

What was it about the posts you didnt like? That the Mottey is an exact copy of a Ginacue or that Mottey made two of the exact same cue? Looks like the rumors about your business ethics may have some truth to them.

Excellent questions.

Typically when someone considers buying a high dollar cue they'd like to know the history behind it. Thank you AZ for deciding what we should know. I don't need a baby sitter. I can formulate my own opinions. You've just lowered the integrity of the for sale forum and insulted our intelligence.

Mike, as I know Snakewood, can you feel the Inlays/rings or so and have the Butt a weight Bolt:confused::wink:
Thanks for reply
Ralf, love this and the sister Cue more then 7 Years ago:love::love2:

Someone certainly lowered the integrity of this forum and insulted members intelligence but it wasn't me.

I have sold WAY more items here than most people and when there is a question or statement in a thread I answer it or explain my point of view on the situation to the best of my ability. I don't have the questions or statements deleted. Maybe I'm just off but I figure when you use a public forum to sell a product you should be prepared to answer questions about how and what you are selling.

No one came here and told people not to buy the cue. Most of the deleted posts wished the OP well in selling the cue. I did and I was genuine in the statement. The cue is a piece of history. Good or bad to be determined by each individual. To think that history will not be discussed when it pops up in public is just silly.

I don't know the history but I can see it is a BEAUTY if Paul made 10 it is still a BEAUTY. Ralf stated he loved the other 7 years ago! Are you sure Ernie didn't copy Paul? I have a Gus Szamboti that almost every cue maker copied!Seems every one is copied at one point or another. Good luck on it Mike, Ron

Hi Ralf:

When I run my hand up and down the butt of the cue, the only thing that I can feel other than the finish is the ring at the Ivory butt cap, and barely so. I cannot feel any of the inlays. There is a weight bolt, and the weight of the cue could easily be adjusted down by 1 oz., to 18.7 oz.

A BIG BUMP to keep this MONSTER at the TOP with as much exposure as possible!!!!

Good luck with your sale! :kma:

Its interesting that someone got to cherry pick posts to be removed.

Whats more interesting is the lack of an explanation as to why they were removed.

Stay classy AZ.

The odd thing is, what I said wasn't really that offensive/obnoxious/cointraversial. O even said what a pretty cue it is ('cause it is!) and wished the seller luck!

Cue

When this cue was on sureman cues for sale i thought the butt cap had a little chip very very slight was this replaced or repaired (buffed out??)just wondering that is if this is the same cue which i assume it is....this is a sharp looking cue although i can't say i approve of the straight out copy of anothers work which i was unaware of.

Explanation for this is self explanatory by clicking the link in CMD's signature.

Nice cue, good luck with your sale.

may not have been the same cue.. a friend of mine used to have one very similar.. pics of it can be found on the proficient site... the joint rings on this cue posted and the one my friend had are deffinatly different.. so there is a few variations of this cue..

Paul made 2 of these cues. I owned both of them at one time. Got a lot of flack because of the copy of the Ginacue. The one on Proficient Site is my picture of the other cue that was refinished at Proficient. Casey
