That's a great cue at a great price. Ernie is quoting new orders a 2 year wait as when he is done with his current batch he is going to begin work on his 50th Anniversary edition.
Joe and I talked about this cue and I told him it was an 11C, but its actually a bit of a hybrid, the prong work on a classic 11C was not veneered.
Good luck with your sale.
Kevin
Good eye as usual, Kevin. The catalog 11C has ebony prongs with inlaid 3 leaf clovers at the points, but no veneers.
I would say chances are the butt cap is not ivory on this cue. Regardless, she is a stunner. Best o' luck with the sale.
I was the first owner of this cue ordered it custom built this way from Ernie. Very nice price for this cue. Good luck with your sale.
Sweat Q, at a VERY Fair Price IMHO!
At this time, the Gina is SOLD, pending receipt of payment. I will hold all of the PMs and make contact with you guys who made offers if the deal falls through.
Thanks,
Joe
I guess i am the first person to make you a offer few mins after you post this cue, and I accept all the request you have ask, escrow by Marcus not by Master9baller(which i prefer) and payment by bank wire or westunion not paypal(I prefered) And i even said that I could put down a deposite to reserve the cue and later you said the cue is gone.
Can i ask is this a 400+ iTrader rate seller should do?
Is this the way you sell your cues?
What a jok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you initially made the offer, you did not indicate that you were in China. After I asked if you were in the US, you told me you were in China. I was still willing to work with you, if we could agree on how we could both be comfortable proceeding.
I never asked for escrow by Marcus, and you never mentioned his name.
You wanted escrow by Master9baller...he never contacted me to say that he was OK with it, or what the conditions would be. However, I could have worked with him for you.
Then, you said you would send a deposit and I would ship the cue, then you would send me the remainder.
After that, I said I would ship the cue to you in China if you made payment in full via bank wire transfer or western union. All the risk would have been yours. You again said that you would send a deposit for me to ship the cue. I would have needed payment in full and all risk would have been on you.
After that, you said that you would send me payment via western union, but that you would send it as a payment for services and not a payment for merchandise. Again, you said you would send a deposit, not payment in full up front.
Perhaps all of that would have worked out, but I was not willing to risk entering a transaction under those conditions. I did not feel comfortable with the way things were heading.
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Joe
did he tell you the cue was yours? If not then it would still be for sale,if he said yes it was yours then you have a valid point!Goodluck
And will ask for a escrow service from master9baller(Brian) who is also from AZ. I will pay all the fees except the shipment.
Steven
Steven,
Are you in the US? How would you make payment?
IJi Joe,
I'm in China. And it's a big risk to ship ivory to China so i ask master9baller to do a escrow for me and i will take all the risk. Payment will through paypal from my account.
And deposite will put down if there is a deal.
Steven,
Payment would have to be made via bank wire transfer or Western Union for me to ship the cue to China, even via master9baller. I understand your willingness to take the risk, and understand Master9baller's willingness to help you with that, but Paypal would not protect me on a transaction like that.
Joe
Hi Joe,
Westunion also ok for me, at the first place i thought you would not ship the cue with ivory oversea.
Payment will through westunion but will take 2 working days for me to exchange my local currency to USD then make a westunion transfer but deposite will put down to reserve the cue and will pay as a service not for goods that will make you a risk free sell.
Steven
Steven,
I am sorry. The Gina has been sold here in the US.
Joe
Cory Barnhart shipped some cues to China recently under similar circumstances, and he lost his cues and his payment. After considering everything, I felt it was not in my best interest to go forth.
I am sorry,
Joe
I get that your upset but honestly ,nothing Joe said would make me believe this was a done deal.It seemed you really wanted the cue bad but Joe wasn't comfortable with going forward.GoodluckI said I will take ALL THE RISK to ship this cue to China.
So it's not like what you said that you would worry about this and another guy who lost the cue and money.
When I said I am in China at the same time I said that i would take all the risks to make you a risk free sell.
Below is all our PMs, and my offer is made 22 mins after you post this cue.

Steven
Steven,
He does not sign all the cues on the forearm. This one has the serial number (07-1-034) and "Ginacue" enscribed inside the ivory joint.
Joe
Got it, $2800 will still make the deal at myside.
And will ask for a escrow service from master9baller(Brian) who is also from AZ. I will pay all the fees except the shipment.
Steven
Steven,
Are you in the US? How would you make payment?
I have no problem with any escrow, as my 439 positive iTraders would indicate.
Joe
Ji Joe,

Yes, saw your iTrder rate. But as you know a lot people are not will ship cue with ivory inlay oversea.
And deposite will put down if there is a deal.

WHat a joke? I'm the first one to make a offer for this Gina and now you said it's gone?

Your offer was that you pay me a deposit, and I ship the cue, and the destination was China...although the destination was to Master9baller for further shipment to you. After all of that, you would have sent the remainder...it never was clarified on when that would have been. You also wanted Master9baller (or me) to ship the cue, which has heavy ivory in it, to China. I was never comfortable on that. I offered to consider shipping to you after you paid for the cue via Western Union/bank transfer. You again said that you would send a deposit, not full payment, and that you would send it as payment for services rather than for merchandise. I am not comfortable with that in several ways. If you wanted the cue shipped to you in China, you would have needed to make full payment first, then you would assume all of the responsibility for any loss, should it be impounded.
Cory Barnhart shipped some cues to China recently under similar circumstances, and he lost his cues and his payment. After considering everything, I felt it was not in my best interest to go forth.
I am sorry,
Joe
