FTC: 'Natural Cures' Author In Contempt

I hope the players get ALL their pay first. Then I hope they throw the key away. Johnnyt
 
I'm no fan of KT or his books, but in all fairness he has not yet been found in contempt as the thread title says, rather the FTC has asked the court that he be found in contempt.

the FTC cant put him in jail, they do only civil cases, if the aledged violations of his concent decree or current trade practices are deemed fraudlent then the FBI will pick up the case as well then they will endite him on fraud cahrges then its a criminal matter and then he can go to jail. The extent of what the FTC can do is take all his $$$, get a judgment against him based on how much business he did and also forbid him to be in the same type of business again, I had a friend who lost it all 16,000,000 on a FTC beef, I had another friend who 5 years ago lose it all and the criminal case just came down on him he is looking at 174 years in jail, he'll serve about 17 if he is lucky-the FBI or US Attorney pickes up the cases after the FTC and then they go criminal. So KT might lose his $$ but jail will be along time down the road, he wont go to jail selling the book, it said in his consent decree with the FTC he could write books-they gave him the idea. There might be more on him, i'll make some calls and look around, I have acccess to some information on these types of cases, when I know more I'll post it, at the approiate time.
 
heh it IS sleazy how he advertises the stuff, apparently he claims that his weight loss plan is the easiest and requires no willpower or self-deprivation.
But it requires daily injections (not even pills but injections omfg) and a 500 calorie a day diet. That's a STRICT diet. Most of us will lose weight at 1200/day. 500 is like... 2 slim fast snack bars and 2 shakes per day and that's it.

Nobody should say something like that in good conscience or be allowed to get away with false advertising.
