Scruggs cues belonging to me.

You did that just to bust on David. For shame. You are a nasty man. hen you sell your TS Cues be sure to let everyone know who altered them. Or should I say when you have Leon sell them. can't even post your own Cues. Says a lot.
Ouchers,
I used to like Cue collecting. But you and yoyr buddies suck the fun out if it with your valueless dribble.
Outed by,
Nick :)

Mike did all of my work. Now Dennis Searing has done 100% of my Scruggs cue work til now. Bob Frey can but just havn't yet. Leon Sly re-finished one Scruggs cue and one only. Ask Rick Phillippi how many G.S. % B.S. cues he has re-finished for all the big cue dealers. Don't try to spread $hit that's not true.
Bob

That is what he does. All he is good for. Making shit up and selling it as fact. At the end of the day, his opinion is worth about as much as he is. A sheet of used toilet paper. Take care Bob.

Why is it OK for nick to spout off lies about well-respected members here?

He started a thread about me, mia and subdude1974 and it magically disappeared. I am thankful for that. But it doesn't stop him from spreading lies. "Most" times a thread goes to $hit, it's because nick is involved.

<~~~~~~~disappointed

The most laughable part of that thread he started was that not a single word of it was rooted in reality. At all!!! He claimed we made accusations that NONE of us did.

But that's Nick for ya. Make stupid posts, stupid claims, stupid accusations and then call everyone else that bad guy. (Anyone remember the 'floaters' thread?!?)

- B <------------- is laughing too hard at Nick to be disappointed

Lol

So wjdsnipes what are you going to do now that Cory and Tim had the cue in there hands yesterday at Bob Frey's house and everybody agrees that it's a Fake. Tim wants to know if you bought it with Monoply money. And to all the experts that think its real you should try and buy it.So who put that logo on that cue?

Rep to shallowmoss for his investigative work!!!

Probably nothing considering the cue belongs to someone else. And he's not selling it. I don't think he bought it with Monopoly money considering... he didn't buy it.

And from all the posts he's made, his friend isn't planning on selling it. So, not really sure what the "I talked to so and so. Trust me" is going to prove OR how its going to hurt the guy who DOESN'T OWN THE CUE.

I'll eat crow. I was fooled. But don't really feel too bad about it. From the pics, most were. Hell, Joe sold it and had it in his hands. I would like to know how it was ID'ed as fake. What were the factors? But it will have to be something more than I didn't make it to make me believe. It would have to be a definitive flaw.

IT was and IS a FAKE

Yes, there are telltale signs that Tim and or Mike did NOT make the cue in question - I for one spotted them - but to detail what those are is not likely to happen in public - why give the counterfeiters the information on how 'they' screwed up - so that next time they can correct their mistakes ??

Furthermore, as I mentioned previously, to make a "veneered" full spliced cue requires several very specific jigs and fixtures - and NONE of that equipment was ever in either Tim's or Mike's shop . . . IF that equipment existed 'someone' besides Tim or Mike would know about it and likely have it in their possession today . . . having gone thru all the trouble to make those fixtures the TS shop would most likely have turned out lots of full spliced veneered cues - which would be well documented - somehow, this seems to be continually overlooked by those who "think" the cue to be a real TS cue.

Enlighten me as I am not a cuemaker. I was under the impression that they made quite a few fullsplice cues. They weren't veneer cues, but they weren't sneaky pete's either. I remember a really nice one with a radial pin, ivory joint and buttcap being made. It wasn't a conversion so how could they make it? This has been an entertaining thread to say the least. I would just like to understand.

Well

You have been listening to the wrong experts. Except for the fact they are clueless keep listening.
Nick :)

So why not enlighten us, Mr. Expert! We'd LOVE to hear your thoughts and opinions in the matter.

- B<------------- thinks Nick is about as credible as an email from Nigeria telling me I've inherited millions.

Well, I know one thing....what dealers will offer some Scruggs cues on trade at shows just shrunk up like a piece of hog belly hittin' hot grease.

I think the cue that you are referring to is the cocobolo FS wrapless cue. Guess you could call it a fancy sneaky. I ivory joint, buttcap(I believe) and a radial pin. Cue was signed by Tim. I was under the impression that they made the cue in its entirety. I guess it is a conversion as well.

Nick has a full splice Tim Scruggs for sale, but after reading all these posts the real ones have no logo but his does have a logo?!

Very confusing!

So what do we take away from all this... Scruggs cues = Caveat emptor???

If you look at my post

You will see the only Full spliced Cues TS logoed. Converted house cues. The cues were converted not made by TS.
Nick :)
