There are a few of those passes out west. It can snow year 'round at those altitudes, so guard rail isn't always used, otherwise there would be no place to push the snow.Looks like he backed it in a little hot! Does remind me of real fear. I was on a little twisty turny road up a mountain ten thousand feet or so in the southwest. Most of the guard rails were gone, the rest smooth flat from impacts. Occasional cars on the side that had fell a thousand feet or so. Just as I got to the top I saw the biggest sized rental truck like that coming from the other direction! MOMMIIEEE!

Yeppy, it can get the o'l pucker meter pegged when rental trucks and RVers are coming at you, crowding the center line to avoid the vertical wall on the inside.
