A friend of mine was charged with DWI and Failure to Maintain Control of His Vehicle after a wreck that he broke his leg in and a van and pick-up truck were totaled. Fortunately his "vehicle" escaped with minor scrapes and bruises and no harm to the foal she was carrying.
Yes, he was riding a horse when this happened. If you ride a horse on the highway it is a motor vehicle, so says the man!
