Holy damn hell I certainly have!

When I was younger I was in my parents 1977 Mercury Grand marquis. I rarely drove that car and was on the highway in the rain.

I saw a little flash of light ahead of me and lifted off the accelerator. Next thing I know, the rear end of the car in front of me goes straight up in the air and starts wiggling. That car slams into a stopped vehicle in front of it.

I Was already on the brakes in my car and being a damn near 20 ft car, the front must have touched the ground. Drum brakes on the rear.. not familiar with it...the lady in front of me was stopped on the highway with a look on her face like she was gonna die, watching my headlights approach her.

My car stopped about 3 ft in front of her, I threw it in reverse/ then drive - hoping it didnt stall- and floored it.

A minute later, I was doing 90 down the highway and realized I was out of the situation. There was a lot of yelling in the car at that moment and for a while after.

Ethel was a bit of a demon in her wheelchair and loved to charge around the nursing home, taking corners on one wheel and getting up to maximum speed on the long corridors:
Because the poor woman was one sandwich short of a picnic, the other residents tolerated her and some of the males actually joined in.
One day, Ethel was speeding up one corridor when a door opened and Kooky Kevin stepped out with his arm outstretched.
"STOP!" He shouted in a firm voice. "Have you got a license for that thing?"
Ethel fished around in her handbag and pulled out a Kit Kat wrapper and held it up to him.
"OK!" He said and away Ethel sped down the hall.
As she took the corner near the TV lounge on two wheels, Weird Wally popped out in front of her and shouted. "STOP! Have you got proof of insurance?"
Ethel dug into her handbag, pulled out a drink coaster and held it up to him.
Harold nodded and said. "Carry on, ma'am!"
As Ethel neared the final corridor before the front door, Crazy Carl stepped out in front of her, stark naked, holding a very sizable erection in his hand.
"Oh, Good grief." Groaned Ethel. "Not the breathalyzer again!".
