And to think people assume that buffalo are slow moving animals that don't have cat like reflexes .
The last time I went to get a buffalo to feed my family with a friend of mine he shot one of the bigger bulls while I wanted a dry cow ( better eating by far ) after he shot his bull one of its buddies another bull picked it up with its horns tossing it nearly 20' not even its hooves drug on the ground .
Incredible animals that shouldn't be trusted unless it's on the other side of a big fence ha ha
 

No need to ask "why did the buffalo cross the road?" Still not sure why the chicken did but the buffalo did due to major torque!

What is most interesting is that the dominant bull seems to have decided to use the road as a boundary. I came up on some free roaming buffalo like this years ago. Got some decent pictures, ... from near my truck!

Hard to comprehend their size too, until you've seen one.
