The Koa and Red Mallee are both coming from Hawaii. The Koa will be the handle for a Brazilian Rosewood Merry Widow.

By any chance you wanna sell that hot piece of burl wood? I'd be very very keen... :)
 
The wood is being very carefully dissected and turned by Dave Jones here in Seattle. We are doing everything possible to minimize waste and use every piece of wood. The Golden Amboyna actually rendered some pretty amazing Point Blanks that I am excited about.

If you are speaking about the Ironwood Burl, I am hoping to get 2 Forearms and 2 Butts out of this piece but there are some voids and inclusions that we have to work around. Depending on how it turns out I might sell one set but we will have to see how things go.

Let me know how the Ironwood turns out.

I'd be interested in enough for a handle in a cue if you sell a piece.

It would be going on a cue with a segmented handle so not sure if that makes a difference in what size I'd need... but I'm sure it would.

I am a weak, weak man. I ended up buying another early Christmas present for myself. The pictures do this piece absolutely no justice. I would take better ones but I immediately delivered it to the cue shop to start acclimating to the environment.
