I hear a lot of people testifying as to how good this pin is. I'm curious as to what cue makers think of this.

Joey Gold uses this pin. I have also used it a couple of times, but my cues are designed to house my own design stainless joint pin, They hit better for me.
It's an, [ it ain't broke type thing ].

My favorite of all pins. I'll ask my cuemaker to use it. I prefer my customs now to have no metals at all except for a weight bolt.

Weight bolts don't have to be metal as well.:)

My cue from JoeyInCali has the G-10 radial pin and no metal at all--except for the brass rings, in the cue. Perfect balance.

What about the connecting pin between the handle and the prong?

gobs of feedback.

Mason, first I want to say i agree with your statement. Both cues I have had with G-10 pis had tons of feedback.

It seems however that alot of people think that means the cue can't be stiff. Is it your experience that a cue with a G-10 pin can't be stiff? or as stiff as say, the same cue with a brass 3/8-11 pin.

The 2 cues that I owned had stiff tapers on the shafts and I thought they both played great. Feedback plus stiff.

Please give your thoughts

.
They're confused.

they are plenty stiff.i would rather have a G-10 than aluminum.i would say gobs is in between a ton and loads.i like the pin very much and they weigh basically nothing.it opens up some new possibilities with Blackwood, heavy Rosewoods and Ebonies, etc.

You can make it as stiff as you want look at the Lambros joint style.

It sure hits a ton but swing like she's 19.2 oz.......
