Was wondering what people thought of the joint with the G10 pin. Does it have a different hit, feel?

g10 pin

I have a pancerny custom cue with the g10 pin. this is the same pin as a cog... its a lil different at first but once you get used to it you'll love it.

I have many types of cues and they all have different pins and joints including a G10 RC3.

When I am playing /shooting I don't notice or can tell the difference with the pins or joints.

I think the tip, shaft and the overall construction of the cue makes the difference and not just a pin.

Most great cuemakers try to develop a certain hit and it is a combination of everything and when they find it they keep it. Cogs use a G10, SW a 3/8 and etc.

The best thing to do is go to a big tournament where there are a lot of cues for sale and try a few.

Thanks. Do you think they will hold up well?

Vertically their strength is just as strong as a steel pin. excessive horizontal force can have the potential to snap it.
I know because it just happened to my teachers Cog.
But overall, G-10 pins are very durable and if treated correctly should last a lifetime
