my friend from terrehaute is looking to play some on the 10ftr in indy...9ball or 10ball hes from terre haute has lived there 7 yrs...bobby dickerson was supposed to play him but being a waitress and all his money is tight and that game didnt take place...also strong arm has an even bar table game with him if he so chooses....i think breedlove is the only one barred like to play 2-3k sets this weekend...get a line on him dennis harr..pm me if anyone wants to play

Will he play Manny Chau? A simple yes or no will suffice. They play even or it's no game.

I didn't know there were "area" restrictions on this game. If you are looking for only Indy players, what are you doing on here? Just go down to the local pool hall and give a shout out.
 
For one thing, before this turns into one of those threads where people bark at one another and make jokes about people they dont even know, Bobby is not a waitress he is a bartender and is also a full time college student. If Dennis wants to play some im pretty sure Steve Oaks said he will play him a race to 20 for I think $2000. Why dont you see if you can find Chris Austin, Dennis played him last friday and im sure would like to play him again. Chris doesnt bet a lot of his own money but I heard he can be staked for about $3000. Mac1972, just out of curiosity how do you know Bobby anyway, and when were him and Dennis suppose to play because I dont remember it.

If you were referring to me making the joke.. I don't think you understood the joke... it wasn't that he was a server, it was the fact that the term "waitress" is reserved for females. There's no way Bobby could be a waitress... maybe a "waiter" perhaps, but never a "waitress"

First of all I was never supposed to play Dennis. I offered to play him some by the game at a reasonable price for good practice and would do so any time he showed up to the poolroom. The reasons for me not wanting to bet that kind of money has nothing to do with my occupation, which is a bartender/server/key holder at a very well known Restaurant/Bar that Hillary Clinton actually visited when she came here. I talked to Dennis today and he said he had no idea that you were putting this type of thing on here, which I hope is the case, since I considered him a friend and have did some things with him in the past, which is my final reason for not wanting to bet that kind of money. I think he plays better than me and if I were ever going to gamble that high with him it wouldn't be even. So, I thought I was doing something beneficial for both by wanting to play some 10 or 20 a game for practice. What is wrong with that? Anyway, I just wanted to set the record straight and I'm concerned with the way that you tried to publicly embarrass me and imply that I was broke. If you have any more concerns or questions you obviously know how to find me or can call and Dennis has my number.

steve can play ahead set to 10...and i know bobby and his dad for a long time they been cheating my machines for years...26 yr old college student...could be a doctor by now...maybe dennis and bobby wernt supposed to play but i bet bobby wont be calling dennis a nit behind his back...his hand was called and he didnt play

I'm not quite sure what your infatuation with me is? I don't even think I've said more than two words to you? I'm sorry if you are upset with pool because you can't make two balls in a row and try to latch on to good players coat tails and make money off of them. Maybe you are sad because you have to sell bootleg copies of dvds to make a living or work at some type of factory? i asked steve if he would play head sets with dennis and this was his reply "im 50 years old i cant play sets like that but i will play a long race". i dont have a dime in any of this but would like to see dennis play someone because i know the caliber of player he is and whoever he plays it would be a great match.
 
brandon...In this era of political correctness, the proper term is "waitperson"...which is applied to either sex! Regardless, no doubt Bobby is a VERY FAST waitperson or bartender...from his success at speed pool! Glad I could help! :D

The term is actually "server" now. But whatever it is, he pretty much told us, he's a bartender. I've known Bobby for a while, not real well, but he has always came across as a pretty respectable person to me. I must have missed where he called Dennis a nit behind his back? But I wouldn't expect that from him. As for him offering to play some for practice, for $20 a game, thats pretty respectable, considering he states publicly "he don't think he can beat Dennis".
