Tell George Randy sent you
4k get's you everything but the wires, computer, and t-slot. I've seen this in person and it is very well made.
Does it have enough Z clearance for a Taig lathe ( tapering ) and 5-c Collet indexer ?
PS
Willee, an $800 CNC might be good for pens with nasty glue lines in the inlays, might be so for custom cues .
6 or 8 inches.. 6 i think. Yes, it can be used with both of those. The ballscrews are MUCH bigger than I thought and are ground. Rails(for sure) and ballscrews are made in Taiwan. Steppers are dropshipped from California and I didn't look to see where they are made. The Leadshine mx4660 can be used instead of mx3660 for 4 axis controller.
I've been following this guy for years and he has many happy customers, including cuemakers. This is the CNC I'm raising money to get.
My friend was going to get some other unit for MORE money and I talked him out of it. He's STOKED and I saved him over a grand.
PM me about spindles......

I didn't realize they were that cheap with ground screws. That's a bargain.
Don't you prefer finer-thread lead screws ?
The web site is sparse regarding the Predator and Demon. Is there somewhere online to see pricing specs for those lines?
Predator is 4400.00 for 40x60. One inch aluminum. That doesn't include motors or electronics. I figured 6k with a normal(non ATC) spindle GTG.
I'm trying to get him on here to answer questions on here . I know of 2 cuemakers who have these who can hold TIGHT tolerances.
Randy....
Any idea what the lead and grade of lead accuracy on the ball screws are?
I took a quick web tour but couldn't find that info. Haven't made contact with the maker yet.
Nice looking set up! I may have to change directions on my build and fork out some cash.
I'm trying to get him to answer questions on here, but he's pretty busy. That would be best. You can also call him....
